Australian Football League Live GWS Giants vs Hawthorn Hawks Live Stream Free, AFL 2018 Regular Seasons Week 15 AFL Live Stream. GWS Giants vs Hawthorn Hawks match will be kickoff at Spotless Stadium, Sydney Olympic Park, NSW, Australia, Saturday 30 June 2018 online, 19:25 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.
One of the key games of AFL Round 15 will be held on Saturday night, June 30, when the GWS Giants take on the Hawthorn Hawks at Spotless Stadium.
Both sides sit just outside the eight and a win will be a massive boost to their respective finals chances. First bounce is at 7.25 and the action will be shown live on Channel 7 and Fox Footy.
The two sides are amongst a host of sides that are battling away for top eight positions and it is 9th placed Hatwhorn that just head GWS, who currently occupy 10th on the ladder.
The Hawks are equal on points with 5th placed Melbourne and have won eight of 13 games this year, while the Giants are seven wins and a draw from the same quota of games.
Little separates the two sides in the head to head betting. GWS enjoy the home ground advantage but will be without some key players due to injury and suspension. They come off a 27 point win over Brisbane last Saturday, while Hawthorn accounted for the Gold Coast Suns by 53.
Both sides have won their past three. A feature of the Hawks wins has been their defensive zone with Alistair Clarkson’s side conceding an average of just six goals per game in those three matches. GWS will need to be mindful of this.
However, their forwards should get plenty of supply. Josh Kelly, Lachie Whitfield, Dylan Shiel and Stephen Coniglio have all been in great form in the middle of the ground and are sure to find plenty of it.
The battle between that quartet and the likes of Tom Mitchell, Jaegar O’Meara and Liam Shiels will be pivotal. Mitchell leads the competition for total disposals this year.
A decisive factor in this might be the venue. Hawthorn have never won at the ground. The Hawks will need to start better than what they did last week and work on their accuracy. Otherwise it might be a familiar outcome.
