AFL Live GWS Giants vs St Kilda Saints Stream AFL Football 2015 Online, AFL Round 15 Match will be kick off at Spotless Stadium, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Saturday 12 July 2015 online, 13.10pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.
The St Kilda Saints are looking to build on their mammoth win over Essendon but face a GWS-side looking to re-establish their finals credentials.
Fresh off their biggest win for years, don’t expect too many changes to the Saints. Though Sam Fisher, Daniel Minchington, Paddy McCartin, Hugh Goddard and Luke Delaney are knocking at the door. The Giants have a host of candidates to return after their NEAFL side spanked Sydney. Nathan Wilson, Josh Kelly, Jed Lamb and Jake Barrett all had monster days whilst Adam Tomlinson returned from a toe injury. They will still be without best 22 members Patton, Davis, Haynes, Mumford and Patfull.
The Giants are ninth on the ladder with seven wins through their 13 games having lost four of their last five games. They rank fifth for points scored but 11th for most points conceded this season. They are 5-1 (3-3 against the line) vs bottom ten teams this season. St Kilda is 13th on the ladder, but only two and half games outside of the eight having won three of their last five games. They rank 8th in points per game but 14 for most points conceded this season. They are 4-3 (5-2 against the line) vs bottom ten teams this season.
These two have met four times with St Kilda victorious three times (3-1 against the line) though the Giants had their measure in round 1. The Giants have a 8-17 (15-10 against the line) record at Spotless Stadium. St Kilda is only 3-14 (7-10 against the line) outside of Melbourne since the start of 2013. GWS is 0-4 (2-2 against the line) when on a three match losing streak. The Saints are 1-7 (3-5 against the line) following a win in the last two seasons. Three of their four match-ups have totalled over 182-points.
The Wolf cannot go past how impressive the Saints were when dismantling Essendon last round and thinks they can cause an upset against the Giants. It is up forward where they hold the aces with Tim Membrey, Nick Riewoldt and Josh Bruce causing headaches for the under-strength GWS tall-defenders whilst smalls Jack Lonie, Adam Schneider and Jack Sinclair have chipped in too. Their intensity around the contest and at the opposition has been irrepressible and against a Giants side that has really struggled to score in the last three weeks, expect the Saints to be right in this and more than capable of causing an upset.
