AFL Live Port Adelaide Power vs GWS Giants Stream AFL Football 2015 Online, AFL Round 20 Match will be kick off at Adelaide Oval, Adelaide, South Australia, Australia Saturday 15 August 2015 online, 16.35 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.
A season to forget for Port Adelaide but they can put a dent in the Giants’ chances of a maiden finals berth with a win on Saturday.
The Giants will be without midfielders Adam Treloar (groin) and Tom Scully (shoulder) for their trip to Adelaide whilst Stephen Coniglio (concussion) is in doubt too. Matt Buntine, Dylan Shiel and Shane Mumford are also out. For Port, Alipate Carlile, Oli Wines and Jared Polec will all miss.
Port is 12th on the ladder having won three of their last five games though they were spanked by the Bulldogs last week. Port rank 7th for scoring and 12th for points conceded this season. The Giants are 10th on the table with 10 wins and eight losses having won one of their last three. They rank 9th in scoring and points conceded this season. GWS is 8-2 (6-4 against the line) vs bottom ten teams this season.
Port Adelaide has beaten GWS in their three of their four match-ups (2-2 against the line), winning by an average of 50-points. Port Adelaide has won 16 of their 22 games (15-9 against the line) at the Adelaide Oval. GWS is 6-14 (10-10 against the line) when on the road in 2014-15 and 0-1 (0-1 against the line) at the Adelaide Oval. All four of their games have totalled over 174-points. Port is 4-5 (4-5 against the line) following a loss this season. Jay Schulz has kicked nine goals in his last two games against the Giants.
It’s tough to back the Giants away from home and without some of their key midfielders even though Port Adelaide was extremely poor last weekend. The Giants put away the Bombers last round but getting the chocolates in Adelaide seems a bridge too far. When on, these two both play a very entertaining and attacking brand of football and with decent firepower at both ends of the ground the over total match points line looks a good bet too.
