Australian Football League Live St Kilda Saints vs Melbourne Demons Stream AFL 2015 Seasons Week 11 math will be kick off at Etihad Stadium, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Sunday 14 June 2015 online, 16.40pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.
With just three wins to their respective names, St Kilda and Melbourne are separated by only percentage. Both teams only won four games last year, so one of them is set to reach that mark before the mid-season bye.
The Saints have omitted Adam Schneider, Tom Hickey and Jack Sinclair adding Sam Gilbert, Hugh Goddard, Daniel McKenzie, Tim Membrey, Luke Dunstan and Maverick Weller to their extended squad. They are missing just Sam Fisher from their best 22. The Dees have lost Aaron Vandenberg (hamstring) and Colin Garland (hand) and have dropped Matt Jones and Ben Newton. They welcome back Dom Tyson whilst Jake Spencer, Jack Grimes, Viv Michie, Dean Terlich, Alex Neal-Bullen (debut) and Billy Stretch are on the extended bench. Missing from their best side is Chris Dawes, Sam Frost, Christian Salem, Vandenberg, Garland and Kent.
The Saints are 14th on the ladder with a 3-7 record. They rank 12th for points scored and 15th for most amount of points conceded this season. The Dees are 14th for most amount of points against and 17th for most points scored. They’re 15th on the ladder just six per cent behind the Saints.
St Kilda have won their past ten matches against Melbourne. The Dees have not beaten St Kilda since their 2006 elimination final victory – Nathan Jones is the only Demon left from that team. Since 2010, the Saints are 6-0 (but 1-5 against the line) vs Melbourne. The Dees have lost their last 20 matches at Etihad Stadium, not having tasted victory there since Round 19 2007. Since 2010, they are 0-14 (4-9 against the line) at the venue. St Kilda is 8-20 (14-14 against the line) at the Docklands since the start of 2013. Four of their past seven match-ups have totalled over 172.5 points. The Saints are 1-1 both head to head and against the line when starting favourite in 2014-15
The Wolf is chipping up on the Dees this weekend. They fought hard against Collingwood and beat Port Adelaide for a half the week before that. The last time they played a winnable opponent, they beat the Bulldogs by 39-points. Expect Bernie Vince to nullify David Armitage, whilst Tom McDonald has had some favourable match-ups against Nick Riewoldt. It won’t be pretty but it will be profitable, go the Demons!
