Australian Football League Live Fremantle Dockers vs Sydney Swans Stream AFL 2016 Seasons Week 19 match will be kickoff at Domain Stadium, Subiaco, Western Australia, Australia, Sunday 31 July 2016 online, 15.20 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.
Sydney are looking for back-to-back victories for the first time since Round 11.
Fremantle have lost four in a row after a mid-season bright patch when they reeled off three straight wins. The losses have been to Collingwood, Melbourne, Geelong and Gold Coast, with the latter two having more merit than the former.
Sydney are looking to break a win-loss cycle that goes back to Rd 11. They edged out Carlton by a goal last week, after being done by five points to Hawthorn the week before. Prior to that saw their best win of the year, over Geelong, and another close loss, to the Bulldogs
In their last ten clashes, Freo have won five and Sydney four, with one draw. The last six matches to produce a result have gone the way of the home side. The last nine clashes have seen neither side top 100 points. Both sides have failed to cover the line in three of their last four matches.
Fremantle are two wins from eight matches at Domain this season, at -53% POT. Six of those matches have gone under. They have kept their opposition to under 100 points in their last seven matches at home.
Sydney’s last four matches at Domain have gone under the total match points. They have lost four of their last five games at the venue. The Swans are five from seven on the road this year, at +24% POT and 57% ATS.
Sydney haven’t been at their most fluent over the last two weeks, and in some ways will enjoy getting away from the confines of the SCG to the bigger Domain Stadium, where they can unleash their running game to full capacity.
Fremantle have all but put the queue in the rack from a winning perspective this season, but will surely be up for Matthew Pavlich’s 350th game. While effort may not be a problem, class will be in the end, and they will struggle to break down a Sydney defence that has been in strong form.
