Australian Football League Live Richmond Tigers vs Essendon Bombers Stream AFL 2015 Seasons Week 09 math will be kick off at Melbourne Cricket Ground Stadium, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Saturday 30 May 2015 online, 19.20pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.
It’s the 10-year anniversary of the first ever Dreamtime at the ‘G game with the Tigers looking to getting their first win in the blockbuster since 2011.
After consecutive wins, don’t expect too many forced changes for a Richmond side coming off consecutive wins. They will have to replace Tyrone Vickey (ankle) with Liam McBean the likely inclusion. For the Bombers, David Zaharakis will have to pass a fitness test on his knee in order to play.
The Tigers are 8th on ladder having won their past two games after losing the three before that. They are 1-1 against teams inside the top eight this season. They rank ninth for points scored and seventh for least amount of points conceded. The Bombers are ninth on the ladder ranking 13th for most points scored but six for least amount of points conceded.
Richmond and Essendon have met 195 times with the Bombers leading 104-87 with four draws. The Bombers have won four of the last seven games between the two sides. Since 2010, Essendon is 5-4 head-to-head and against the line vs Richmond. This will be the 11th Dreamtime at the ‘G game with the Bombers leading 6-4, having won the past three games (3-0 against the line). The Tigers are 6-10 (7-9 against the line) at the MCG since the start of 2014. Essendon is 12-12-1 (12-13 against the line) at the MCG since the start of 2012. Their last five games have all totalled under 177-points.
Richmond look to have turned the corner in the past couple of weeks with momentum building wins over Collingwood and Port Adelaide. Their midfield has started to dominate with Ellis, Cotchin and Martin all topping the stats sheets with Riewoldt kicking eight goals in his last two games. Notwithstanding their win over Brisbane, the Bombers have struggled to score recently. Like the Tigers to cover the line and keep the Bombers to a low score.
