Australian Football League Live St Kilda Saints vs Fremantle Dockers Stream AFL 2016 Seasons Week 10 match will be kick off at Etihad Stadium, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, Saturday 28 May 2016 online, 16.35 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.
Can Fremantle crack it for their first win of the year, or will the Saints take care of business at home?
St Kilda have gone 2-2 over the last four weeks, beating Melbourne in fine style, pushing North in a close one, capitulating against West Coast in Perth, before bouncing back with a professional win against Essendon. It’s a fair return, but they need to eliminate those howlers.
Fremantle are still winless, and have almost become the forgotten side of the AFL. Most of their losses have been respectable in recent times, and they’ve been catching teams at just the wrong time.
St Kilda leads Freo 7-3 in their last 10 meetings. Five of the last six meetings have been at Etihad where the ledger is 3-2 the Saints way, but one of those is skewed by the Dockers resting their first choice team in Rd 23, 2013.
Fremantle is +15% POT and 57% ATS at Etihad under Ross Lyon, but since the start of 2014 they are -32% POT and 38% ATS there.
St Kilda has two wins from ten matches at Etihad against interstate sides under Alan Richardson, but have started the underdog in all of them. They are 40% ATS in this circumstance, and haven’t covered the spread in their last four attempts.
Lachie Neale ($2.20) v Jack Steven ($5.50) should be an epic battle for most touches but you can’t look past the favourite who is coming off 37 and 38 touches in his last two games. He hasn’t dropped under 33 in his last seven games and should double your cash here. Nick Riewoldt won’t be stopped either and paying $3.75 to have the most Fantasy points. He is averaging 119 in his last three this year and even scored 155, 91, 189 and 117 in his last four against the Dockers. He’ll be massive!
St Kilda are well set up to further their win tally against a Fremantle side, still hungry to prove themselves and climb up the ladder.
The Saints will bring their pressure game and attempt to harass the younger Docker players, and use their hard runners like Jack Steven, Leigh Montagna and David Armitage to spread the game apart.
The St Kilda tall forwards should be too good for the Freo key defenders, giving the Saints midfielders several options, and the line doesn’t look big enough here.
