AFL Live St Kilda Saints vs Hawthorn Hawks Live Streaming Free 2018 Regular Seasons week 22 match will be kick off at Etihad Stadium, Melbourne, VIC, Australia, Saturday 18 August 2018 online, 19:25 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.

Hawthorn come off a thrilling 11 point win over their rivals, Geelong, and that win has them firm for a top four finish at the end of the home and away season.

The premiers from 2013/14/15 sit in 4th position with two games to go and if they take out St Kilda this weekend as well as Sydney in Round 23, they will gain the double chance.

Their opponents, St Kilda, have been one of the disappointments of the season and are languishing in 15th position on the ladder with just four wins to their credit in season 2018.

Alan Richardson’s side have lost their past four matches and went down to Essendon by 43 points in Round 18. Sebastian Ross and Jack Steele were a couple that played well in that match but the Saints will need more from a host of others if they are to pull off an upset.

Hawthorn should have an edge in a number of key areas. They rank higher in a number of statistical measures and have more depth around the ground. Look for Tom Mitchell and Jaegar O’Meara to find plenty of the ball, while Luke Breust and Jack Gunston should ensure the Hawks find the formula to post a winning score.

That duo sit in the top seven players for goals scored this season and have combined for 92 majors over the course of the year. At the other end of the ground, Tim Membrey has been a solid contributor for the Saints with 30 goals but the former Swan may have his work cut out against the Hawks stingy backline.

St Kilda los Nathan Brown to suspension and a number of others may face the axe. Hunter Clark, Luke Dunstan and Hugh Goddard are in the mix for a return.

Hawthorn should regain Jarryd Roughead after the veteran forward missed the Geelong win with an ankle injury. James Sicily and Ben McEvoy continue to miss.

The two sides met earlier this year at UTAS Stadium in Launceston and it was Hawthorn by 35 points. Tom Mitchell picked up 45 possessions, while Isaac Smith booted four goals. Jack Steven and Jimmy Webster were St Kilda’s best.

The Saints claimed the corresponding game at the same venue last year by 75 points when the Hawks bottomed out early in 2017. Hawthorn have won seven of the past eight between the two sides. Two of those wins were at Etihad Stadium.

Hawthorn should be too good for the St Kilda. The Saints only chance of an upset will be if the Hawks are caught napping after their recent stirring wins. But with Alistair Clarkson at the helm it is unlikely that any complacency will cost the Hawks at this time of the season.

The two Queensland based sides have struggled in 2018, winning four games each. Brisbane are currently 16th on the ladder, just shading their local rivals, who are 17th.

The Lions have had the better form in recent times, winning three games in a row from Round’s 14 to 16 and while they have gone on to lose their next four, two of those were by under a goal.

The Suns have been largely dreadful since earlier in the season and have lost 14 of their past 15. Asides from a shock win over the Sydney Swans by 24 points in Round 18 they have been largely uncompetitive. Last weekend they went down by 74 point to Richmond

The Lions have been posted the $1.25 favourites for this and have a healthier list at this time of the season, with many of the Suns players succumbing to season ending injuries.

Look for Dayne Beams and Dayne Zorko to have an influence in the middle, while Harris Andrews and Luke Hodge should control proceedings in defence. Key players for the Suns include Touk Miller, Jarrod Harbrow and Jarrod Lyons but the issue for Gold Coast is likely to be their inability to kick a winning score.

The rank 17th in the competition for points for, while the Lions have fared better and are 11th in this area. They should have more run in the midfield, setting up the likes of Eric Hipwood up forward.

Gold Coast have a number of players that are done for the season and the latest casualties are Will Brodie and Pearce Hanley. Jack Srimshaw and Michael Barlow are among the possible inclusions.

Brisbane are likely to be without Darcy Gardiner after the big man dislocated his shoulder in the loss to Collingwood. Jack Frost and Ryan Lester are among those that could come in.

Brisbane have won nine of the 15 games between the two sides but Gold Coast took out the Round 5 this year by five points. Brisbane won the two ‘Q-clash’ encounters last year, scoring by 58 points at the GABBA in Round 21, while it was a two point margin to the Lions at Metricon Stadium in Round 1.

Brisbane are playing the better footy and their list is in a much healthier state than the depleted Gold Coast outfit.

AFL Live GWS Giants vs Sydney Swans Live Streaming Free 2018 Regular Seasons week 22 match will be kick off at Spotless Stadium, Sydney, NSW, Australia, Saturday 18 August 2018 online, 16:05 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.

GWS have won nine of their past 10 matches and are charging towards the finals. The Giants continue to defy a massive injury list and come off a 14 point win over the Adelaide Crows in Round 21.

Another win will see them take one step closer to locking in the double chance, something that seemed very unlikely 10 weeks ago. They face Melbourne in Round 23.

Their opponents, Sydney, have bounced back into calculations with close wins over Collingwood and Melbourne in recent weeks. Last weekend they held on by seven points over the Demons and they now sit in 6th position on the ladder.

GWS have been posted as slight favourites for this game and look to have a bit of a class edge in the middle of the ground. They rank 3rd in the competition for contested possessions and 1st for clearances, while Sydney are 9th in both of these measures.

Look for Lachie Whitfield, Dylan Shiel and Callan Ward to find plenty of it for the expansion club, while Josh Kelly is another that can have an influence, provided he is ok to go after sustaining a concussion last weekend.

Sydney come into calculations on the back of their experience in big games, while the Giants massive injury list will also obviously be a help.

Lance Franklin will again be one of the key players for John Longmire’s side and the champion forward has been amongst the Swans better players in recent weeks. He has booted 52 goals this season, six behind Ben Brown and Jack Riewoldt in the race for the Coleman Medal.

Other pivotal playmakers for the Swans include Isaac Heeney, Josh Kennedy and Allir Allir. That trio featured in the best for the Swans last weekend.

Sydney have won 10 of the 14 games between the two sides, including the past two. The Swans claimed the Round 3 clash this year by 16 points with Callum Sinclair, Lance Franklin and Josh Kennedy playing key roles. Stephen Coniglio and Jeremy Cameron were among the Giants best.

The Swans took out the 2017 Round 17 clash at Spotless Stadium by 13 points and have won two of the four games they have played there. GWS are five from seven at the venue this season.

This is a tough one to predict as GWS have the edge but will have to do it without key players. Having said that, their record at the venue has been strong over the past few years and they look to be the play in the head to head betting.

Players List:

Australian Football League Geelong Cats vs Fremantle Dockers Live Stream Free, AFL 2018 Regular Seasons Week 22 AFL Live Stream. Geelong Cats vs Fremantle Dockers match will be kickoff at GMHBA Stadium, Geelong, VIC, Australia, Saturday 18 August 2018 online, 14:10 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.

Geelong won three from three at Simonds Stadium recently before making the journey over to Perth, where they dropped their Round 13 encounter to West Coast by 13 points.

Prior to that they defeated Adelaide, Port Adelaide and the Western Bulldogs at Simonds Stadium and they return to their fortress where they should be very hard to beat. CrownBet have posted them at the odds of $1.17 in the early head to head betting.

Fremantle enjoyed the bye last weekend and the break couldn’t have come at a better time for Ross Lyon’s side. After winning six games in a seven week stretch earlier on, the Dockers then dropped their three games before the break in fairly ordinary fashion.

Their most recent was a shocker and came against the bottom placed Brisbane Lions to the tune of 57 points. They have won six games for the year and sit in 11th position on the ladder, eight spots behind 3rd placed Geelong, who have registered eight wins.

The Sunday clash brings together the Brownlow Medalists from the last two years, Geelong’s Patrick Dangerfield and Fremantle’s Nathan Fyfe. Of that pair, Dangerfield is in the superior form and is favourite to go back to back this season.

The explosive midfielder is one of the key reasons why the Cats rank highly in a number of measures. They are 4th for average contested possessions and 5th for clearances, while the Dockers are 16th and 8th in these measures.

Look for Dangerfield and his partner in crime, Joel Selwood, to get on top in the middle of the ground, however, Fremantle may have an advantage in the ruck. Their monster ruckman, Aaron Sandilands, is leading the competition for hitouts and returns to the side this weekend.

The Dockers will need to rediscover the form that saw them win their games earlier on but at Simonds Stadium, the task would appear to be beyond them.

Geelong should come out all fired up after their loss to the Eagles and have plenty to play for, given the closeness of the 2017 season. A win will see them maintain their gap on a host of sides, while a loss will have them in the midst of the chasing pack.

Geelong lose Scott Selwood and Nakia Cockatoo to hamstring complaints but Tom Hawkins returns from suspension.

Fremantle may make a host of changes after their loss to Brisbane a fortnight ago. Shane Kersten comes off a poor performance, while Brady Grey will miss with a hamstring. Aaron Sandilands should be right to return, while Griffin Logue will be considered.

Players List:
CATS:
B: Stewart, Henderson, Tuohy
HB: Duncan, Kolodjashnij, Guthrie
C: Murdoch, Selwood, Thurlow

Collingwood claimed their Round 21 clash against the Brisbane Lions by 31 points with that performance snapping a two game losing streak. The Magpies now sit in 5th spot on the ladder with two rounds to go and are just half a win behind 3rd placed GWS.

They face a Port Adelaide lineup that come off a heartbreaking loss last weekend. The Power battled injuries to key players during the game but couldn’t hang on, going down to West Coast by four points, courtesy of a goal after the siren to the Eagles’ Jeremy McGovern.

That loss means that the Power will need to win at least one or even both of their remaining home and away games to make the finals. They are now 8th on the ladder with the likes of Geelong and North Melbourne breathing down their neck.

Collingwood appear to have the advantage in a number of areas in this game. They average more disposals, contested possessions, marks and hitouts, while they have also been the superior attacking side in 2018.

Port Adelaide rank higher for clearances and are similar for inside 50s but they will have to do it without their focal point in attack in Charlie Dixon, who damaged his ankle.

Paddy Ryder is another in doubt and his possible absence will free up Collingwood’s Brodie Grundy, who is among the leading ruckmen in the game. Ollie Wines, Jared Polec and Brad Ebert are some of Port’s midfielders that will need to lift and they take on the likes of Steele Sidebottom, Scott Pendlebury and Taylor Adams in that part of the ground. That trio rank in the top 35 for average disposals this season.

A win for Collingwood may seem them as high as 3rd position at the conclusion of the round, while a loss could see them as low as 7th. Port could finish anywhere from 5th to 10th.

Collingwood have some big names on the sidelines and a number of those are done for the season. Jeremy Howe is edging closer to a return but Adam Treloar is still a few weeks away.

Charlie Dixon’s absence for Port Adelaide might open a few doors but the Power are expected to go with a small forward line. Sam Powell-Pepper, Jack Hombsch and Riley Bonner are all rated as a chance to return to the side.

Port Adelaide have won the past three against Collingwood and two of those have been held at the MCG. Last year, the Power prevailed by 27 points at the Adelaide Oval in Round 21 and in Round 14 it was a 31 point margin at the MCG.

Robbie Gary booted seven goals in those two games, while Chad Wingard and Travis Boak were also solid contributors. Steele Sidebottom found plenty of the footy for Collingwood in the two games.

Port have ventured to the MCG just once this year for a win over Carlton. Collingwood are seven from 13 at the venue in 2018.

Players List:

Australian Football League Richmond Tigers vs Essendon Bombers Live Stream Free, AFL 2018 Regular Seasons Week 22 AFL Live Stream. Richmond Tigers vs Essendon Bombers match will be kickoff at Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne, VIC, Australia, Friday 17 August 2018 online, 19:50 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.

AFL Live Stream Free

Richmond sit one game clear on top of the AFL ladder and a win on Friday will stitch up top spot with just one round to follow in the home and away season. After winning the premiership in 2017, the Tigers have shown no signs of the dreaded ‘hangover’ and have won 16 of their 20 games to date.

Their opponents for Friday, Essendon, have won 11 of 20 in 2018 and sit in 11th spot on the ladder, one game outside of the eight. The Bombers simply have to win this if they are to have any chance of stealing a finals position. They take on Port Adelaide in Round 23.

John Worsfold’s side head in as underdogs for the Tigers clash but have some solid form in the back half of the year, winning nine of their past 12 games. In the same time period, Richmond has also won nine.

Both sides had wins in Round 21, taking out some average opposition. Essendon claimed a 43 point victory over St Kilda, while a 10 goal performance by Jack Riewoldt helped Richmond notch up a 74 point victory over the Gold Coast Suns.

The Bombers should have plenty of solid contributors against Richmond. They rank higher for disposals, marks, clearances and tackles and it is Zach Merrett and Dyson Heppell that have been a couple of the key players, while Jake Stringer and Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti have bobbed up in the forward line in recent weeks

However, the Tigers are renowned for their depth and are one of the most even sides in recent memory. Last week it was Riewoldt and Josh Caddy that were the benefactors but Dustin Martin, Trent Cotchin and Dion Pretsia are among a host of others that will need to be contained.

An upset win for Essendon will still see them finish the round outside the eight but in with a chance if other results go their way. A loss will mean they can officially kiss goodbye to any finals hopes they may have had.

Richmond lose Kane Lambert to an ankle injury but the consistent midfielder is expected to be right for the finals. Toby Nankervis should come straight back in after missing the Suns game with a corkie.

Essendon may be without Adam Saad after the running defender suffered a concussion last weekend. Brendan Goddard is also in doubt. Orazio Fantasia will miss with a hamstring. Matt Dea and James Stewart are among the possible replacements.

Richmond have dominated Essendon in recent seasons, taking out the last seven games between the two sides, including the Round 11 ‘Dreamtime at the G’ encounter this year by 71 points.

On that occasion, Shane Edwards and Dustin Martin found plenty of the footy for the Tigers, while Josh Caddy booted four goals. Devon Smith and Tom Bellchambers were amongst the Bombers best.

West Coast Eagles vs Fremantle Dockers match will be kickoff at Optus Stadium, Perth, WA, Australia, Sunday 05 August 2018 online, 16:40 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.

The West Coast Eagles will be looking to bounce back against the Fremantle Dockers after their 40-point loss to North Melbourne in Hobart on Sunday. The Kangaroos only held a 3-point lead at half time, but kicked seven goals to one in the second half as the Eagles had no answer.

Despite the loss, the Eagles have still played some terrific football in the last month. This has included victories over the GWS Giants and Collingwood at the MCG.

The Eagles still sit in second position on the ladder but are only a game clear of Collingwood and Port Adelaide. The Eagles are likely to be without Josh Kennedy for the Western Derby but will take confidence from the fact they have beaten the Dockers on the last six occasions.

The Fremantle Dockers have played some pretty ordinary football since losing skipper Nat Fyfe. A gritty nine-point victory over Port Adelaide was sandwiched between a 54-point loss to Melbourne, 55-point loss to Brisbane and a 59-point loss to the Hawks on Sunday afternoon.

The Dockers have looked lackluster and haven’t really brought any real intensity in four out of their last five weeks. They should lift for the Western Derby, however I can’t see it being enough to trouble the Eagles.

Eagles star forward Josh Kennedy is unlikely to play in the Western Derby after suffering a shin injury at training last Thursday. Kennedy was named in the team to play against the Kangaroos on Sunday but didn’t make the trip to Hobart. Lewis Jetta also missed the Hobart trip and is listed as a ‘test’ for the match against the Dockers.

The West Coast Eagles have won the last six Western Derby’s, dating back to Round 20, 2015. Prior to this, the Dockers had won the previous six Derby’s.
The Dockers have averaged only 65 points per game in their last six matches against the Eagles.
The Eagles haven’t lost consecutive games twice in a season since 2014.

North Melbourne find themselves outside the eight, looking in, after their 17-point loss against Essendon at Etihad Stadium. Although the Kangaroos didn’t come away with the four points, it was a terrific brand of football to watch, with an incredible 13 goals scored in the first quarter.

The Kangaroos got off to a flyer, with early goals from Ben Cunnington, Mason Wood, Jack Ziebell and Nathan Hrovat, the Roos quickly established a 20-point first-quarter lead. That lead quickly evaporated, with the speed of the Bombers on full display. The Bombers kicked seven goals in the second quarter to back up their six goals in the opening term and never looked back.

Despite this loss, the Kangaroos have won four of their last six matches and cannot be displeased with the position they sit in, with eight rounds to go. The Roos face Sydney, Collingwood and West Coast in the three rounds after this, making a victory against the Gold Coast Suns absolutely necessary.

The Gold Coast Suns are officially in crisis mode. The Suns have lost their last nine matches and have failed to score over 60 points in five of those nine matches. Star forward Tom Lynch is almost certainly out the door at seasons end, while key defender Steven May could well follow him.

The Suns have lost their last nine matches by an average of 50.3 points per game and I don’t see things improving when they take on a North Melbourne side who is desperate for a victory to boost their finals chances.

Jarrad Waite continues to be a To Be Confirmed (TBC) after being a late out against the Brisbane Lions in round 11. He then re-aggravated the calf injury at training a fortnight ago. Mason Wood is still 3-4 weeks away from returning from his hamstring injury.

After the rumours that star forward Tom Lynch is almost certainly out the door, key defender Steven May is also uncertain about his future. May has a tweaked ankle is listed as a ‘test’ for this week’s clash against the Kangaroos.

AFL Footy Carlton Blues vs GWS Giants Live Streaming Free 2018 Online Saturday 05 August

Australian Football League Carlton Blues vs GWS Giants Live Stream Free, AFL 2018 Regular Seasons Week 20 AFL Live Stream. Carlton Blues vs GWS Giants match will be kickoff at Etihad Stadium, Melbourne, VIC, Australia, Sunday 05 August 2018 online, 13:10 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.

AFL Live Stream

The two teams enter this game with their respective form in stark contrast. GWS has won seven of its last eight games, while Carlton ended a nine-game losing streak with a win on the road in Round 19.

The Giants enter the game as one of the best sides in the competition, although the Blues will be positive after their return to winning ways last week.

Carlton supporters won’t be forgetting last year’s clash between these two sides anytime soon.

With the Giants sitting at the top of the AFL mountain, the Blues produced a stunning one-point victory after a late Zac Fisher behind.

Matthew Kreuzer was instrumental that afternoon with 21 disposals, 33 hitouts, a goal and three Brownlow votes in his 150th game. It was Carlton’s first win over GWS in its previous five attempts, after winning the first two games between the sides.

There’ll be no shortage of high draft picks in action on Sunday, albeit at opposite ends of the spectrum.

While players such as Brett Deledio, Ryan Griffen, Marc Murphy and Dale Thomas were all early selections in their own right, it’s the developing talent coming through to keep an eye on.

Carlton fans can keep watch of the progression of GWS’ list, with the Blues finding themselves in a position which the Giants were in not too long ago.

Last week, GWS fielded 10 players who were taken between the 2011 and 2016 national drafts: half of them have now played 100 games.

That’s compared to Carlton’s team last weekend, which had nine players from the 2014 national draft to now and will form its core going forward. Jacob Weitering has played the most games with 54.

Matthew Kennedy will come up against his old side for the first time, after making his way across from the Giants to the Blues at the end of last season.

Joined by Giants-turned-Blues in Jed Lamb, Caleb Marchbank and Jarrod Pickett, Kennedy’s recent form should hold him in good stead against former teammates Josh Kelly and Callan Ward.

Kennedy has averaged over 21 disposals since returning from the bye, following an injury-interrupted beginning to his season. He has also had 12 clearances in the last fortnight, providing strong support for Patrick Cripps and captain Marc Murphy.

With GWS the second-best side in the AFL for clearances and third in contested possessions, Kennedy will need to put in a big shift for his new side with his fellow midfielders.

Carlton will take confidence from the victory against the Gold Coast Suns, in a game which displayed the abundance of young talent the Blues have coming through the ranks.

While the stage is set for a difficult task against a white-hot GWS outfit, Brendon Bolton’s side will be hopeful of similar output from both the emerging and upcoming talent. It’ll be a significant test for the Blues, but one which individuals such as Paddy Dow, Sam Petrevski-Seton and Lochie O’Brien can use to test and elevate themselves against the best.

It is now or never for the Sydney Swans, who have dropped their past two games and four of their past five. After suffering a shock defeat to the Gold Coast Suns in Round 18, the perennial finalists then faded out of it to lose to Essendon by 43 points and are now in danger of missing out on the finals action for the first time since 2009.

John Longmire’s side are now in 9th spot on the ladder, six places behind 3rd placed Collingwood. The Magpies lost their Round 19 game to the ladder leaders, Richmond, by 28 points in an effort that was respectable, given that they lost some key players during that game.

Despite their injury woes, Collingwood should be able to trouble Sydney with their midfield depth and pace around the contest. They rank 1st in the competition for total disposals and are 4th for both hitouts and clearances. Sydney are 11th, 15th and 8th in these measures.

Look for Scott Pendlebury and Steele Sidebottom to have an influence. That pair combined for 75 disposals in the loss to Richmond last weekend, while Brodie Grundy was another that was dominant.

Key players for Sydney are Josh Kennedy, Luke Parker and Lance Franklin. ‘Buddy’ has been quiet in recent times and is battling injury, while Kennedy and Parker will need to produce blinders if the home side are to fire.

Another loss at home will see Sydney finish off the round outside the eight, while a win will have them back in the mix. Collingwood could slide out of the top four if they go down but a win will take them one step closer to snaring the double chance.

Sydney lose Zak Jones to suspension but Kieren Jack and Jarrad McVeigh are a chance to return from injury.

Collingwood’s wretched run with injuries continued last weekend and they lose Matt Scharenberg to an ACL, while Brody Mihocek and Jeremy Howe remain in doubt. James Wish, Alex Fasolo and Ben Crocker are among those that could come in.

The two sides have not met since Round 3 of 2017 and on that occasion it was Collingwood in a thriller by one point at the SCG. Interestingly, the past five games between the two sides have been held in Sydney and it is the Pies with the advantage with three wins to two.

Collingwood have won all three of their interstate games this season, while Sydney’s woes at home have been well documented, winning just four of nine at their once formidable venue.

It is hard to have Sydney based on their recent woes as well as their ordinary record at home this season. Collingwood have too much class in the middle of the ground and will prevail.
