AFL Footy Carlton Blues vs Adelaide Crows Live Streaming Free 25 August 2018 Online Saturday

AFL Live Carlton Blues vs Adelaide Crows Live Streaming Free 2018 Regular Seasons week 23 match will be kick off at Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney, NSW, Australia, Saturday 25 August 2018 online, 19:25 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.

AFL Live Online

2018 has been a tough season for the Adelaide Crows but they can finish it with a victory when they face Carlton on Saturday night. Nothing has gone right for the Crows this season. Plagued by injuries and poor form by some of their more senior players, it won’t be a season to remember.

It isn’t a season to remember for the Carlton Football Club either. The Blues have the most wooden spoons in the 21st century with five and will be making it six after Round 23. It’s been a horror season for the Blues, with only two wins and seven losses over 50 points, it’s hard to be optimistic.

The word from the Blues camp is that their youngsters Patrick Cripps and Charlie Curnow are both sore but are likely to play in the last game of the season.

The last match between these two sides was in Round 7 at Adelaide Oval. The Blues really didn’t play that badly, sticking with the Crows at halftime before the Crows kicked 10 goals to four in the second half to win by 55 points.

The Crows should be far too good for the Blues who appear to be over this season and are limping to the end of Round 23.

Carlton stars Patrick Cripps and Charlie Curnow are both sore but likely to play against Adelaide. As for the Crows, Daniel Tahila and Brodie Smith are both progressing from injury but unlikely to play the last game of the season.

This is a match only hardcore footy fans and avid punters will be watching start to finish. Both the Dogs and the Blues have had disappointing seasons and will be looking for victories to take some confidence into the 2019 season.

Only two seasons after a grand final victory, I’m not going to sit here and call a 7-13 record a success for the Bulldogs, however, It’s a step in the right direction from where they were after Round 2.

The Dogs have made improvements, running over the Saints in the second half before a gritty seven-point victory against a North Melbourne side that had everything to play for. The Dogs should beat Carlton and win three consecutive games for the second time this season.

In a league that includes the Gold Coast, Carlton have been the worst team in the competition in 2018. The Blues hit rock bottom two weeks ago against the Giants, going down by 105 points with the Giants have no rotations and at times, having only 16 or 17 players on the ground.

The Blues put in an improved effort against the Dockers over at Optus Stadium on Sunday. Although it was a competitive effort, they never looked like getting the four points. The young bodies of the Blues look sore, which is a worrying sign for Brenton Bolton with two rounds to go.

Jacob Weitering will return for the Blues after sustaining a severely corked quad. Matthew Kreuzer will miss the remaining two games of the season after suffering another elevated heartbeat.

Easton Wood returns from a hamstring injury for the Dogs. Debutant Callum Porter has joined Lewis Young, Mitch Honeychurch, Patrick Lipinski, Fergus Greene, Brad Lynch, Tim English and Ling Jong on the extended bench.

Players List:
BLUES:
B: O’Brien, Rowe, Thomas
HB: Byrne, Lamb, Weitering

AFL Footy Carlton Blues vs GWS Giants Live Streaming Free 2018 Online Saturday 05 August

Australian Football League Carlton Blues vs GWS Giants Live Stream Free, AFL 2018 Regular Seasons Week 20 AFL Live Stream. Carlton Blues vs GWS Giants match will be kickoff at Etihad Stadium, Melbourne, VIC, Australia, Sunday 05 August 2018 online, 13:10 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.

AFL Live Stream

The two teams enter this game with their respective form in stark contrast. GWS has won seven of its last eight games, while Carlton ended a nine-game losing streak with a win on the road in Round 19.

The Giants enter the game as one of the best sides in the competition, although the Blues will be positive after their return to winning ways last week.

Carlton supporters won’t be forgetting last year’s clash between these two sides anytime soon.

With the Giants sitting at the top of the AFL mountain, the Blues produced a stunning one-point victory after a late Zac Fisher behind.

Matthew Kreuzer was instrumental that afternoon with 21 disposals, 33 hitouts, a goal and three Brownlow votes in his 150th game. It was Carlton’s first win over GWS in its previous five attempts, after winning the first two games between the sides.

There’ll be no shortage of high draft picks in action on Sunday, albeit at opposite ends of the spectrum.

While players such as Brett Deledio, Ryan Griffen, Marc Murphy and Dale Thomas were all early selections in their own right, it’s the developing talent coming through to keep an eye on.

Carlton fans can keep watch of the progression of GWS’ list, with the Blues finding themselves in a position which the Giants were in not too long ago.

Last week, GWS fielded 10 players who were taken between the 2011 and 2016 national drafts: half of them have now played 100 games.

That’s compared to Carlton’s team last weekend, which had nine players from the 2014 national draft to now and will form its core going forward. Jacob Weitering has played the most games with 54.

Matthew Kennedy will come up against his old side for the first time, after making his way across from the Giants to the Blues at the end of last season.

Joined by Giants-turned-Blues in Jed Lamb, Caleb Marchbank and Jarrod Pickett, Kennedy’s recent form should hold him in good stead against former teammates Josh Kelly and Callan Ward.

Kennedy has averaged over 21 disposals since returning from the bye, following an injury-interrupted beginning to his season. He has also had 12 clearances in the last fortnight, providing strong support for Patrick Cripps and captain Marc Murphy.

With GWS the second-best side in the AFL for clearances and third in contested possessions, Kennedy will need to put in a big shift for his new side with his fellow midfielders.

Carlton will take confidence from the victory against the Gold Coast Suns, in a game which displayed the abundance of young talent the Blues have coming through the ranks.

While the stage is set for a difficult task against a white-hot GWS outfit, Brendon Bolton’s side will be hopeful of similar output from both the emerging and upcoming talent. It’ll be a significant test for the Blues, but one which individuals such as Paddy Dow, Sam Petrevski-Seton and Lochie O’Brien can use to test and elevate themselves against the best.

Players List:
BLUES:
B: Byrne, Rowe, Thomas
HB: Lamb, Marchbank, Simpson
C: O’Brien, Cripps, Pickett
HF: Lang, C. Curnow, Petrevski-Seton
F: Dow, Kennedy, Wright
FOLL: McKay, Murphy, E. Curnow
I/C: Silvagni, O’Shea, Lobbe, Polson

IN: O’Shea
OUT: Weitering (quad)

GIANTS:
B: Shaw, Davis, Taylor
HB: Whitfield, Haynes, Tomlinson
C: de Boer, Coniglio, Kennedy
HF: Deledio, Cameron, Kelly
F: Langdon, Lobb, Himmelberg
FOLL: Simpson, Hopper, Ward
I/C: Lloyd, Daniels, Bonar, Greene, Keeffe, Buntine, Perryman, Cumming

IN: de Boer, Cameron, Bonar

Australian Football League Live Gold Coast Suns vs Carlton Blues Live Stream Free, AFL 2018 Regular Seasons Week 19 AFL Live Stream. Gold Coast Suns vs Carlton Blues match will be kickoff at Metricon Stadium, Gold Coast, QLD, Australia, Saturday 28 July 2018 online, 19:25 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.

Free AFL Live Online

Carlton faced a tough assignment in their first game of the season, taking on the premiers, Richmond, in the traditional season opener at the MCG.

The Blues held their own for much of the game before fading in the last quarter, going down by 26 points. Charlie Curnow booted five goals, while Patrick Cripps played a blinder in the middle, registering 36 disposals.

Their opponents in Round 2, Gold Coast, come off a win under their new coach Stuart Dew. In extremely wet and soggy conditions, the Suns toughed it out to win by 16 points in a low scoring game over North Melbourne. Jack Bowes and Jarryd Lyons were a couple of the key contributors.

Despite their efforts, the Suns head in as underdogs for the Round 2 clash but they may be the value in the betting. Under Dew, they are unbeaten so far in 2018- if you take into account the JLT Series in which they won both of their games. In 2017, both sides won six of their 22 matches across the season.

Carlton hold the favouritism tag on the back of the home ground advantage, while the school of thought is that their younger players are more advanced than their Suns counterparts at the moment and their list is more rounded.

Brendan Bolton’s side have the added benefit of having a couple of their veterans in form including Marc Murphy and Kade Simpson and do look to have more depth.

Tom Lynch and Steven May are a couple of players that can influence the game for the Suns. Lynch was unable to boot a goal last weekend but should find the conditions a lot more conducive this weekend. He booted seven against Carlton at this venue last year.

Matthew Kennedy and Matthew Kreuzer are in doubt for Carlton after pulling up with issues out of the Richmond game. Nick Graham, David Cunningham and Sam Kerridge are among those with good form in the VFL. Aaron Hall is a possible inclusion for the Suns

Little has separated the two sides in recent years and the overall win-loss record since Gold Coast entered the league in 2011 is split at four wins apiece.

Last year, Carlton prevailed by 10 points at Metricon Stadium in Round 13, however, the Suns took out the Round 4 encounter at Etihad Stadium by 26. The Blues have won two of the three encounters between the two sides at the venue.

AFL Live Carlton Blues vs Port Adelaide Power Live Streaming Free 2018 Regular Seasons week 15 match will be kick off at MCG Stadium, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, Saturday 30 June 2018 online, 13:45 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.

Carlton will be looking to climb off the bottom of the ladder when they face Port Adelaide at the MCG on Saturday, June 30.

The clash gets underway at 1:45pm AEST with all the action live on Fox Footy from 1:30pm.

Port Adelaide are on the outside of the top four looking in and will be eager to change that with a big win against Carlton on Saturday afternoon.

The Power currently has the worst percentage in the top eight (113.9 percent) and sit fifth on percentage behind Collingwood (119.4 percent). With only two games between first and eighth, the Power must boost their percentage.

Port Adelaide are now 6-1 at Adelaide Oval this season, including three consecutive victories against Richmond, Western Bulldogs and Melbourne. The Power is 3-3 on the road and are getting set to play their first game at the MCG since Round 18 last year.

Carlton fought bravely against Collingwood, despite only having two players on the bench for the second half. It was a horror day injury-wise for the Blues. Levi Casboult suffered a broken finger in the warmup. Lachie Plowman suffered a season-ending knee injury and Matthew Kreuzer went down with an ankle injury.

The Blues will be hoping that Marc Murphy can return to the side this week, as the prospect of no Murphy, Kreuzer or Casboult looms ominously for this 1-12 Carlton side.

I found this game hard to predict. With a 60 percent chance of showers and a top of 13 degrees, there is every chance that Carlton could scrap their way to a 20-point loss. On the flip side, there is also a chance that Port Adelaide could be eight goals in front before the quarter-time siren sounds.

Sydney Swans vs Carlton Blue match will be kickoff at Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney, NSW, Australia, Friday 01 June 2018 online, 19:50 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.

Sydney have won seven of their 10 matches this season and sit in 3rd position on the ladder, while Carlton have registered just the solitary victory and are in bottom spot.

The discrepancy between the two sides is reflected in the early head to head betting, with Carlton as much as $11 in early markets with ladbrokes, while the Swans are $1.04.

However, the Blues were right in the contest against Geelong in Round 10 and just lacked the polish at vital times. If they can bring that effort and intensity to Sydney, they will give themselves every chance of pulling off an upset victory.

The Swans have been known to pull out the odd shocker at their home ground of the SCG and have won just one of four against interstate sides at the venue this season.

However, their star studded list should have enough firepower to ensure an upset does not occur. Josh Kennedy and Isaac Heeney have been in great form, while Lance Franklin looms large inside the Swans forward 50. ‘Buddy’ booted 10 goals the last time the two sides met.

An interesting battle will occur in the midfield, where Patrick Cripps will spend time on Kennedy. The young Blues star leads the competition for average contested possessions, while Kennedy has been one of the best in this measure over the years.

Carlton will need a huge game again from Cripps, while Matthew Kruezer, Kade Simpson and the Curnow brothers are other keys.

Sydney have a number of players that are pushing for selection including Dean Towers and Nic Newman. Tom McCartin may be one to make way.

Carlton may make a couple of changes and Jack Silvagni is one that is putting up his Han for selection with good form in the VFL.

Sydney have won nine of their past 10 against Carlton, including the 2017 Round 23 clash between the two sides by 81 points. In that encounter, Lance Franklin booted 10 goal, while Josh Kennedy picked up 30 touches. Kade Simpson and Marc Murphy were among Carlton’s best.

Earlier in the year, the Blues defeated Sydney by 19 points at the MCG, however, Carlton have not won in Sydney since 1993 and will be out to break one of the games longest running hoodoo’s.

Carlton can stick with Sydney but their lack of firepower presents as a concern. Take the Blues with the 54.5 point start.

The Geelong Cats return home to GMHBA Stadium and host the Carlton Blues on Saturday Night. The action kicks off at 7:25pm.

All the action can be seen live on Fox Sports 3 from 7:00pm.

Just when Carlton thought they had hit rock bottom, they must drive down the highway to face a Geelong team who will come out firing after their abysmal 34-point loss to Essendon last Saturday.

The Cats were simply awful against the Bombers. They kicked one goal in two-quarters of football and looked non-competitive against an Essendon team who hasn’t set the world on fire this season.

Gary Ablett returns to Geelong for his first match back at GMHBA stadium. The prodigal son put in his worst performance in a long time last week, and told Cats coach Chris Scott “watch me next week”.

Geelong have proved they can bounce back after disappointing losses. The Cats suffered a disappointing loss at GMHBA stadium against the Swans without Lance Franklin in Round 6. They quickly bounced back with a 61-point victory against the GWS Giants a week later.

Carlton were simply disgraceful last week against Melbourne. The Blues kicked long, down the line with no urgency and were simply not pressuring the ball carrier, allowing the Dees to run rampant.

The Blues have allowed 54 goals over the last three weeks, including 25 in their horror 109-point loss against Melbourne.

In yet another blow for the Blues, captain Marc Murphy will miss Saturday night’s clash against the Cats after disrupting scar tissue in his foot. In better news, the Curnow brothers will return, with Charlie Curnow overcoming a Quad injury and brother Ed back from a one-week suspension.

Carlton Blues vs Melbourne Demons match will be kickoff at MCG stadium, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, Sunday 20 May 2018 online, 13:10 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.

After breaking through for their first win of 2018, Carlton will be out to make it two in a row when they take on the Melbourne Demons at the MCG on Sunday May 20.

However, the Demons head in as strong favourites for the Round 9 clash, which gets underway at 1.10PM and will be broadcast live on Fox Footy.

Carlton ended their run of outs by handing Essendon a 13 point defeat in Round 7, notching up their first win for the year and just their second since the middle parts of 2017.

The Blues are 17th on the ladder, trailing the 6th placed Melbourne outfit that have won five of their eight games this season. The Demons have now won three on the trot and come off a commanding 69 point victory over the hapless Gold Coast Suns at the GABBA in Round 8.

Clayton Oliver and Nathan Jones have been in great form for the Demons and line up in the middle against Carlton’s Patrick Cripps and Ed Curnow. That quartet feature prominently in a number of statistical measures this season. Oliver and Cripps are in the top five for contested possessions.

As a whole, however, Melbourne should get on top in the middle. They rank 7th for average disposals, while Carlton are 18th. The Demons are the competition’s best at winning the contested footy, while Carlton are 14th in this measure. Melbourne are 1st in hitouts and 3rd for clearances. Carlton are 12th and 6th in these.

Another key factor should be Melbourne’s prowess up forward. Simon Goodwin’s side rank 3rd for points scored, while Carlton are 17th, averaging just 69 points per game. Jesse Hogan sits 4th on the goal kicking table with 20 goals this season, while defender turned forward, Tom McDonald booted five last weekend. Levi Casboult is the Blues leading contributor in front of goals with 11 majors after eight rounds but will be out of action.

Saturday afternoon footy at the ‘G sees cellar dwellers Carlton take on the 15th placed Essendon, in a battle for which side can disappoint their supporters the most. Essendon have had flashes of brilliance this year, but that has been punctuated by some embarrassing performances that leave commentators and fans alike flabbergasted at how talented players could perform so poorly. Brendan Bolton keeps insisting Carlton are continuing to improve- but all we can see is that they currently sit 0-7, and have only managed to get within 20 points of their opposition once. Whoever brings effort to the MCG on Saturday will win this one- forget about Champion Data rankings and AFL ratings; it will simply be who wants it more.

Carlton – Just when you think things can’t get any worse, they do. Saturday’s trip to Adelaide was made all the harder with the news during the week that boom forward Charlie Curnow would miss, along with promising defender Caleb Marchbank. They fought hard against Adelaide, but were still absolutely smashed. When your best is that far behind, you have serious issues.

Essendon – The only words that can describe the Bombers right now are lazy and pathetic. There is just no sense coming out from the club that they have enough players that are content to roll up their sleeves and get dirty, instead of accumulate good looking stats and plays for their highlight reels. The defensive attitude across the ground is one of entitled royalty, and it needs to change quick smart. Where has the pressure gone?

Stats That Matter
Essendon have lost all 7 of their 3rd quarters this season at a percentage of just 39%
Carlton have not reached 100 points in 40 matches
The Bombers are 0-3 ATS in their last 3 games
Dyson Heppell averages 113 Fantasy points a game against Carlton
Carlton have lost 8 straight at the MCG
Ed Curnow is averaging 8.7 tackles a game in 2018

Death, taxes and not being able to pick the spread in an Essendon game- all the biggest certainties in life. Which Essendon side will show up remains a mystery but the Wolf is predicting the Blues to bring the heat, like they did in their last game at the ‘G against West Coast. Clearly, the Bombers have more A-grade players in their line-up in terms of closing out a game, but Wolfie has a feeling the Blues will be throwing the kitchen sink at this one in an attempt to break their duck.

The Adelaide Crows take on Carlton at the Adelaide Oval on Saturday May 5, one of five games for the day and it is the Crows that will head in as raging favourites for the Round 7 clash.

The Blues are yet to notch up a win in season 2018 and come up against a Crows outfit that have won four of six. First bounce is at 7.40PM AEST and all the action can be seen on Channel 7 and Fox Footy.

This shapes as a lopsided one with the struggling Blues coming up against last year’s Grand Finalists. Brendan Bolton’s side went down to the Western Bulldogs by 21 points last weekend and have now won just one of their past 16 matches.

Adelaide come off a comfortable 48 point win over the Gold Coast Suns and more looks in store for this round, however, the Crows can produce the odd shocker and there is some optimism for Blues fans.

Don Pyke’ side are managing plenty of injuries at the moment and went down to Collingwood at the Adelaide Oval in Round 4, while their other loss came against Essendon in Round 1.

If the Blues are to trouble the home side, they will need to find an answer to their continued goal kicking woes. They are averaging just 66 points per game and are last in the competition for points scored. They also rank last for points conceded and disposals per game.

Patrick Cripps has been one of the few shining lights for Carlton, while Marc Murphy is also enjoying a solid season. The former Blue, Bryce Gibbs looms as an important player for Adelaide, as do Tom Lynch and Josh Jenkins.

The latter two will need to fire, given that the Crows skipper is out of action again, this time with a hamstring injury.
