Free AFL Pre Game Essendon Bombers vs Richmond Tigers Live Streaming 2018 Online Week 01

AFL JLT Series Live Essendon Bombers vs Richmond Tigers Streaming Free 2018 AFL Pre Seasons match will be kick off at Norm Minns Oval, Sports complex in Victoria, Australia, Saturday 24 February 2018 online, 16:35 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.

2018 JLT Series Live

Richmond are set to feature the bulk of their premiership team while Essendon will be without a string of their best players in Saturday’s AFL pre-season clash in Wangaratta.

Only three Richmond grand final heroes are likely to miss the JLT Community Series match – injured duo Daniel Rioli and Dion Prestia, along with Nathan Broad who will miss the first three home-and-away matches due to suspension.

In contrast, Essendon will begin their pre-season campaign without Michael Hurley, Cale Hooker, Orazio Fantasia and ruckman Tom Bellchambers, but their three big-name recruits – Jake Stringer, Devon Smith and Adam Saad – are all set to feature.

The Bombers’ 26-man squad includes captain Dyson Heppell, Zach Merrett, Joe Daniher, David Zaharakis and the club’s other ruck option Matthew Leuenberger.

Essendon coach John Worsfold said players were missing the club’s opening JLT clash as part of their pre-season management.

‘‘Those guys (Hurley, Hooker, Fantasia and Bellchambers) were part of a crew of about six or seven that didn’t do a lot of work pre-Christmas, due to injuries late last year or surgeries post season,’’ Worsfold told the club’s website.

‘‘Out of those guys that were in that crew only Daniher and Heppell have done enough to come in to contention for this week. They’ll probably still be on limited preparations within the game.

‘‘Those other guys are prepping for the JLT two game, so they’ll train here and have a big hit-out on Saturday morning.’’

A bumper crowd in Wangaratta for the Saturday twilight clash is guaranteed as reigning premiers Richmond take to the field with close to the outfit that famously broke the club’s premiership drought.

AFL Live Sydney Swans vs Essendon Bombers Streaming Free 2017 Regular Seasons Final week 01 match will be kick off at Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney, NSW, Australia, Saturday 09 September 2017 online, 16:20 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.

Sydney are heavily fancied in the betting and are arguably the form side of the competition, winning 14 of their past 16 matches. The perennial finalists finished runner-up last year and will be keen to feast on Essendon, who were the wooden spooners in 2016.

The Swans finished off their home and away season in style, crushing Carlton by 81 points, with Lance Franklin booting 10 majors, snatching the Coleman Medal in the process.

Essendon won their last two games of the home and away season, albeit against weaker opposition in the Gold Coast Suns and Fremantle. However, they may just have the game to take it to Sydney and were desperately unlucky not to knock over the Swans earlier in the year at the SCG.

The Bombers share the ball around and rank third in the competition for uncontested possessions and second for marks. If they can turn it into a free flowing game an upset is not beyond the realms of possibility.

The Bombers also have plenty of firepower in front of goal and rank third for points scored this season. Joe Daniher finished fourth in the Coleman, while Cale Hooker, Orazio Fantasia and Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti have also found themselves amongst the majors this season.

Given it is finals, the game could be a bit of a slog, with plenty of pressure and contested possession in the middle of the ground. The Swans have the tried and true game style that will stand up in the heat and Josh Kennedy, Daniel Hannebery and Luke Parker should all have a major influence.

Kennedy ranks third in the competition for contested disposals and will be one of the keys against a Dons midfield that has been a bit suspect at times this season. Dyson Heppell will be one Bomber that needs a big game in the middle, while Jobe Watson will be going all out for success, given that he is retiring at the end of the Bombers campaign.

The winner of this will line up in what shapes as a blockbuster Semi Final against either Geelong or Richmond, while for the loser, it is farewell to season 2017.

The Dons occupy eighth spot heading into the weekend and will be out to collect the points to keep the chasing pack at bay.

The game gets underway at 1.10pm AEST and will be broadcast on Fox Footy, while AFL Live Vision is also available to ALL CrownBet members. Every Match, wherever you are.

Five wins in the last seven games, including last week over the Gold Coast Suns, has left Essendon Bombers’ finals fate in their own hands heading into AFL Round 23.

Victory over the Fremantle Dockers at Etihad Stadium will almost certainly be enough to see them across the line and wrap up finals footy.

Now they must deal with the pressure-cooker atmosphere final day of the home and away season and get the job done.

The Dockers are a bit of a bogey side having won the last four head to heads including in Perth in Round 7 earlier this year.

But this is a Bombers side in form and one which has dealt well with the demands of the last two months as the congested ladder battled for the last spots in the finals.

Fremantle have lost the last two games – although they were against Sydney Swans and Richmond Tigers – and won only two of the last 12, and the Dockers might already be on holiday.

Essendon have Jobe Watson back on deck and Travis Colyer also comes into the side. Josh Green is ruled out with a foot injury, while Craig Bird is left out.

Five changes for the Dockers see Lachie Neale, Shane Kersten, Jonathon Griffin, Tommy Sheridan and Sam Collins all named. Sean Darcy is suspended and Griffin Logue, Ryan Nyhuis, Joshua Deluca and Cam McCarthy drop out.

Gold Coast Suns vs Essendon Bombers match will be kickoff at Etihad Stadium, Melbourne, VIC, Australia, Saturday 19 August 2017 online, 19:25 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.

Gold Coast’s season has unravelled and the struggling expansion club have lost their past six matches, with those losses coming at an average margin of 42 points.

Last weekend they went down to bottom placed Brisbane by 58 points, their first game since Rodney Eade was sacked as coach.

With the former Essendon premiership player, Dean Solomon, in charge, the Suns showed little to suggest that they can turn things around in the remaining weeks this season.

A host of their big-name players are either out of the side with injury or in poor form and the Saturday clash really looks to be cherry ripe for the taking for Essendon.

The Bombers were no match for the ladder leaders, Adelaide, last weekend but have won 10 of their 20 games, four more than the Suns, and remain in contention. They are just one game out of the eight and have a winnable game against Fremantle to come next week.

Zach Merrett returns from injury and his presence should ensure the Bombers can supply enough of the ball up to their forward line, where Joe Daniher, Cale Hooker and Anthony McDonald Tipungwuti loom large. That trio sit in the top 22 for goals scored this season with Daniher in second spot in the race for the Coleman Medal.

The Bombers rank fourth for points scored in 2017 and are high up in a number of other measures, including disposals and marks. Statistically, Gold Coast are inferior, except for clearances, ranking eighth, while the Dons are 18th.

Key players for the Suns include David Swallow, Aaron Hall and Jack Martin but their form and injuries would suggest a win is out of their reach.

Gold Coast lose Sean Lemmens to an ankle problem and the utility is one of 15 players on the injury list. Pearce Hanley and Gary Ablett are outside chances of returning from hamstring injuries.

Essendon regain Zac Merrett from suspension, while Mark Baguely is another likely in. Jobe Watson is a chance to be rested.

Essendon kept their season alive last weekend by digging deep to defeat Carlton by eight points. The Bombers looked down and out in the last quarter but rallied to notch up their 10th win of the season. They are currently just inside the top eight in eighth position, with just percentage separating them from the ninth and 10th placed West Coast and Melbourne.

Their opponents for this weekend’s game, Adelaide, are six points clear in top position on the ladder and come off another resounding victory. They knocked over their local rivals, Port Adelaide by 84 points in Round 20 and are now $3.25 favouritism to win the flag later this season.

The Crows are the highest scoring side in the competition and this game shapes as a bit of a shootout, as the Bombers have also piled on the goals in 2017, ranking third for total points.

A combined total of seven Essendon and Adelaide players feature in the top 22 for goal kicking, including the Bombers’ Joe Daniher, who leads the Coleman Medal with 56 majors, while little splits the Crows Taylor Walker (46 goals) and Eddie Betts (45).

The Dons will try to execute their exciting game plan under the Etihad Stadium roof with plenty of outside run, but the Crows have a versatile midfield, headed by Rory Sloane, while their ruckman, Sam Jacobs heads into this with some great form.

Adelaide have had the upper hand over Essendon in recent years and were too good for them earlier this season. Interestingly, the Crows have not journeyed to Etihad this season. Essendon are four from seven at the venue and jumped a couple of interstate sides earlier in the year, including West Coast and Port Adelaide. Selection News

Orazio Fantasia went down with a hamstring injury last weekend and will miss for Essendon. Craig Bird and Brent Stanton are among those that could come in. Adelaide are unlikely to make too many changes to their line-up.

Essendon come off a 30-point loss to the Western Bulldogs last weekend and can ill afford another slip up in their quest to play finals this season. With games to come against Adelaide, Gold Coast and Fremantle, securing the four points is vital.

Their opponents for this weekend’s game, Carlton, have begun to fall away after an encouraging stretch in the middle of the year. Brendan Bolton’s side have lost their past six and come off a 65-point defeat to Geelong.

The Blues defeated the Bombers in wet conditions earlier in the year but given their current form it is hard to see them repeating the dose on Saturday. They are struggling to hit the scoreboard and are averaging just 72 points per game, while at the other end, the Dons have kicked 100 or more on 10 times this season, averaging 98.

Joe Daniher is in stellar form for the red and black and kicked six last weekend, moving into top spot in the race for the Coleman Medal with 53 goals, and is one player that Carlton must stop. Orazio Fantasia and Cale Hooker also loom as weapons for the Bombers.

Essendon will look to take the game on with quick ball movement and uncontested possessions. It will be interesting to see how Bolton’s young Blues structure up against the Dons.

Carlton are currently at the odds of $3.90 in the head to head betting with CrownBet to cause an upset they will need massive games from a host of players including Marc Murphy and Bryce Gibbs as well as the up and comers in Sam Petrevski-Seton and Charlie Curnow.

The two sides have split their four most recent encounters at two apiece. Essendon claimed the Round 23 fixture last year by 24 points, while in Round 6 it was the Blues by 15.

In the Round 23 game last season, Joe Daniher booted five majors for Essendon, while Kade Simpson and Bryce Gibbs were among Carlton’s bets players.

Carlton are three from eight at the MCG this year, while Essendon have won four of their six games at the home of footy in 2017.

The Western Bulldogs have put together two straight wins – against Carlton and Gold Coast – and are looking to win three straight for the first time this season. The Bulldogs are up to 10th on the ladder with a 9-8 record. They have the fifth best defence in the AFL but rank a lowly 16th in scoring. The Bulldogs are 8-2 in Melbourne this year.

Essendon have been in hot form of late with three straight wins, all by margins of 27 or greater. The Bombers are now eighth on the ladder with a 9-8 record. Essendon rank fourth in scoring but rank a much worse 11th in defence. The Bombers have surpassed 100 points scored in seven of their last 10 matches.

This truly is an ‘eight point game’ with a spot in the eight up for grabs for the victor. Essendon head in as slight favourites in the head to head betting and have won their past three in impressive fashion.

However, the Bulldogs have enjoyed a couple of confidence boosting performances in recent weeks and may have regained their mojo.

The wheels fell off for the premiers in an eight-week period in the middle of the season when they lost six games but after defeating Carlton by 20 and Gold Coast by 54, Luke Beveridge’s side are well and truly back in finals contention.

However, Beveridge will need to find a way for his side to restrict Essendon’s scoring as the Bombers have blown sides away in games at Etihad Stadium this season. The Dons rank 4th in the competition for points scored, with Joe Daniher leading the way with 48 goals to his credit.

The job in the backline will be tricky for the Dogs, who have lost Dale Morris to injury. At the other end of the ground, Beveridge’s side rank 16th for points scored and will need big contributions from their forwards, including Liam Picken, who booted six majors in the win over the Suns last weekend.

Other key match ups will occur in the midfleid, where the Dons’ Dyson Heppell, Zach Merrett and Jobe Watson take on the likes of Marcus Bontempelli. Merrett, Heppell and Watson combined for almost 90 disposals in the 27-point win over North Melbourne last weekend and will need big games again if the Dons are to fire.

Essendon Bombers vs North Melbourne Kangaroos match will be kickoff at Etihad Stadium, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, Saturday 21 July 2017 online, 13:45 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.

AFL Footy Live Online

After notching up a big win last weekend, the Essendon Bombers will be out to capitalise on their momentum in AFL Round 18 when they take on North Melbourne on Saturday afternoon at Etihad Stadium.

Essendon sit in 10th position on the ladder and are one game behind the 6th placed Sydney. They are one of a number of clubs that are walking a tightrope at the moment and can’t afford any more slip-ups.

They take on the 17th placed North Melbourne, who have dropped their past six matches. The Roos were knocked over by Port Adelaide to the tune of 70 points last weekend and head in as the underdogs.

On the same weekend, Essendon gave St Kilda a bit of a touch up and the Bombers have now won their past two. Their fans will be hoping they do not see a repeat of the performance a few weeks back that saw them drop their Round 15 clash to bottom placed Brisbane.

A highlight of Saturday’s clash will be the work of the opposing full-forwards in Essendon’s Joe Daniher and North’s Ben Brown. Daniher sits in 2nd position on the goal-kicking table with 45 majors, while Brown is in 3rd position with 41.

We can expect Daniher to receive more supply in this game, however, as his side rank 3rd for disposals, while North are 17th. Look for Dyson Heppell and Zac Merrett to find plenty of the footy and get on top in the middle.

For the Kangas to have any chance they will need a lift from a number of players, including their skipper, Jack Ziebell, as well as Todd Goldstein, who was poor in the loss against Port.

St Kilda are up to seventh on the AFL ladder with a 9-6 record following a demolition job on Richmond. The Saints have now won four on the trot, their longest winning streak since 2011. The Saints St Kilda have kept opponents to 85 or under in 7 of their last 10. St Kilda ranks eighth in both scoring and defence.

Essendon are 10th on the ladder with a 7-8 record following their comfortable win over Collingwood. The Bombers have won just two of their last six though including a loss to the Brisbane Lions. The Bombers have kicked 100-plus in five of their last eight and rank sixth in scoring while they rank a poor 12th in defence.

St Kilda have won their past four games and were menacing last week in their clash against Richmond, particularly early on. They led the Tigers by a whopping 86 points at half time before closing out the game 67 points in front.

Essendon have also played some damaging football at times this season and are just two games behind the 7th placed St Kilda in 10th spot. The Dons cost themselves by losing close games to Sydney in Brisbane in recent times, but rebounded by accouting for their traditional rivals, Collingwood, at the MCG in Round 15 by 37 points.

St Kilda head in as slight favourite’s in the head to head market and if they play up to their form from last week they will be hard to beat. However, the two sides rank similarly in a number of statistical measures this season, including total disposals, clearances and contested possessions.

They appear to be evenly matched in the midfield. Sebastian Ross, Jack Steven and Leigh Montagna have been finding plenty of the footy for the Saints but Essendon’s Zach Merrett, Dyson Heppell and David Zaharakis have been equally as effective.

St Kilda are unlikely to make too many changes to their side but Paddy McCartin is the likely replacement for the suspended Tim Membrey. Essendon have no immediate injury concerns. Jackson Merrett and Jayden Laverde are among those with good form in the VFL.

This is a real toss of the coin job. Both sides will be full of confidence but I really like the way that Essendon rebounded last weekend after a couple of morale sapping victories. Look for the Bombers to get up in an entertaining affair.

The AFL’s traditional rivals, Collingwood and Essendon, go head to head on Saturday afternoon at the MCG and the Round 16 clash between the two foes should be a beauty.

While both sides come off disappointing losses, they will be going all out to bounce back and there is plenty at stake as they try to revive their respective seasons.

First bounce is at 2.10PM and the action can be seen on Fox Sports. AFL Live Vision is also available to ALL CrownBet members. Every Match, wherever you are.

Collingwood have dropped their past three, slumping to 15th spot on the ladder and were done by Hawthorn to the tune of 24 points in Round 14. They sit with a win-loss record of 5-9 and the heat is once again on their coach, Nathan Buckley.

The tale is similar at Essendon. After a series of impressive performances, the Bombers have lost their past two and their win-loss record in now 6-8. They went down to Sydney in heartbreaking fashion in Round 14 by the barest or margins before choking to lowly Brisbane last week, giving up a 27 point lead in the early stages of the last term to go down by nine.

Essendon do appear to be the team to beat in this game, but it remains to be seen just how much the last two weeks have taken out of them, confidence wise.

Collingwood should have an advantage at winning the ball in the middle. With the likes of Scott Pendlebury, Adam Treloar and Taylor Adams, the Magpies rank 7th in the competition for average contested possessions and 6th for clearances, while the Bombers are 15th and 17th in these areas.

However, the issue for the Magpies throughout the season has been their ball use and they regularly butchered the footy against the Hawks last weekend. They rank 4th in the competition for inside 50s but are just 13th for points scored.

If Essendon brings their A-game they should account for their archrivals. They move the ball quickly from their backline and apart from a couple of tentative displays late in their recent games, their form has generally been pretty good.

Look for Dyson Heppell and Zach Merrett to have an influence, while Joe Daniher should once again prove to be a focal point up forward. The rangy forward has booted 38 goals this season and sits in 3rd spot on the league goal kicking table.

At the other end, Michael Hurley has been in career best form and should have a big game against a Pies side that will be relying on the American giant, Mason Cox, who booted three against the Hawks. Cox and his smaller counterparts in the forward line in Jamie Elliot and Alex Fasolo, will need big performances with Darcy Moore likely to miss.
