The 4.35PM clash will be played at Traegar Park in Alice Springs and it is the 11th placed Demons that head in as favourites against the Suns, who are in 15th spot on the ladder.

Melbourne have won four of their nine games this season, one more than Gold Coast, but the Suns have a game in hand on their rivals, courtesy of the bye last weekend.
It will be interesting to see if the week off has any effect. Gold Coast should have fresh legs but they have had to travel a lot in recent times. They have journeyed to and from Shanghai and face another long trip, this time to Alice Springs.
Against Port in Shanghai, the Suns managed to register just four goals for the game and went down by 72 points. They will be looking to rediscover the form that saw them defeat Geelong the week prior.
Their opponents, Melbourne, have struggled in the absence of their key ruckman, Max Gawn, and have won just two of their past seven games.
Simon Goodwin’s side were outgunned to the tune of 14 points by North Melbourne last weekend and can blame a slow start to the game, conceding 13 shots in the first term.
The inconsistent Demons will need to get off to a better start this weekend in order to quell the Suns. Both sides appear to be evenly matched and feature in the top two in the competition for average disposals. Melbourne have won more of the contested football and rank higher for clearances, while the Suns play more of an uncontested brand.
The Queensland based side should also enjoy an edge in the ruck and rank 9th for hitouts, while the Demons are 18th. Look for Jarrad Witts to get on top against the makeshift Demons trio of Cam Pederson, Tom McDonald and Jack Watts.
Other key players for the Suns include Gary Ablett and Tom Lynch. Ablett has strung together a number of strong games this season and ranks 5th in the competition for total disposals, while Lynch is averaging 2.5 goals per game.
For Melbourne, Clayton Oliver, Michael Hibberd and Jordan Lewis have been finding plenty of the footy and in the absence of Jesse Hogan, Jack Watts and Jeff Garlett will be called on to impact the scoreboard.
