Australian Football League Geelong Cats vs Gold Coast Suns Live Stream Free, AFL 2018 Regular Seasons Week 23 AFL Live Stream. Geelong Cats vs Gold Coast Suns match will be kickoff at GMHBA Stadium, Geelong, VIC, Australia, Saturday 25 August 2018 online, 13:45 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.

AFL Live Stream

Geelong head in as raging favourites for this game and a victory will see them finish inside the top eight. They come off a 133 point win over Fremantle in Round 22 with that performance snapping a two game losing streak.

The Cats sit in 8th spot on the ladder and a win will see them finish either 7th or 8th, where an Elimination Final beckons in week one of the finals series. A loss will see them most likely miss the finals.

Their opponents, Gold Coast, are well and truly out of contention and sit in 17th position on the ladder with just four wins to their credit in season 2018. The Suns will be looking to put to bed another disappointing season and are playing for pride.

Their performance in Round 22 saw them go down to their local rivals, the Brisbane Lions, in thrilling fashion by four points. They have won just one game since Round 5 with that victory coming over Sydney in Round 18.

A similar effort in this might see them do the unthinkable against Geelong but they will need massive games from a host of players, including David Swallow, Maverick Weller and Jarryd Harbrow.

But with their decent injury list, it is hard to see an upset occurring. Geelong have plenty to play for and their big guns, including Tom Hawkins, Tim Kelly, Gary Ablett and Patrick Dangerfield have been firing. Hawkins booted six goals in the rout over the Dockers last weekend and is just four behind Jack Riewoldt in the race for the Coleman Medal.

At the other end of the ground, the Suns have a lack of options and are averaging just 58 points per game this year, compared to Geelong’s 88. The Cats also lead the expansion club in a number of other statistical measures over the course of the season, including disposals, contested possessions, clearances and marks.

Geelong have no immediate injury concerns out of the Fremantle win and aren’t expected to make too many changes. Gold Coast have slim pickings to choose from with about 15 of their players done for the season.

Rory Thompson could return, while Jacob Dawson and Josh Schoenfield are others that are putting their hands up with solid form at the lower level.

Geelong have won seven of the nine games between the two sides including the Round 11 clash this year at Metricon Stadium by 85 points. On that occasion, Gary Ablett produced a masterclass against his old side with 37 possession and three goals, while Joel Selwood also found plenty of the footy.

Gold Coast have never won at GMHBA Stadium in four attempts, going down by an average margin of 83 points in those encounters.

Geelong scored one of their most remarkable wins in recent memory last weekend by defeating Melbourne by two points, courtesy of a goal after the siren by their Irish defender, Zach Tuohy.

Earlier, the Cats trailed by as much as 29 points in the last term but a seven goal haul from Tom Hawkins inspired them to the come from behind victory. However, Chris Scott’s side are precariously placed on the ladder in 9th position.

On the same night as the Cats victory in Round 18, Brisbane went down in another thriller and it was a five point deficit for the Lions against the Adelaide Crows at the GABBA. The young side enjoyed three impressive wins prior to that and can trouble Geelong.

Dayne Zorko, Dayne Beams and Daniel Rich are among some of the familiar names that have been in good form for Brisbane but it is their host of younger players that have been behind their resurgence. High draft picks in Cameron Rayner and Hugh McCluggage have been among a number that have been exciting to watch and if that group can fire then an upset is on the cards.

However, with more to play for and the hostile Kardinia Park in their favour, Geelong should be too good. They are among only four sides that are conceding less than 75 points per game this season and the likes of Gary Ablett, Patrick Dangerfield and Joel Selwood should be hard to stop.

Geelong are unlikely to make too many changes after their sizzling win last weekend. Jamaine Jones and Quentin Narkle were among a couple of the quieter players but should hold their spots.

Brisbane are set to regain a couple of key players in Harris Andrews and Luke Hodge. Tom Bell and Ryan Bastinac are others that are in the mix.

Geelong have won their past seven against Brisbane with four of those held at GMHBA Stadium. Last year, the Cats defeated the Lions by 85 points at the GABBA in Round 16 with Patrick Dangerfield running amok on his way to 38 touches and three goals.

Brisbane have not defeated Geelong at GMHBA Stadium since 2003, when it was known as Skilled Stadium. The Lions have won just two of eight games outside of Queensland this year, while Geelong are four from five at GMHBA in 2018.

Geelong will have all the answers.

Sydney Swans vs Geelong Cats match will be kickoff at Sydney Cricket Ground Stadium, Sydney, NSW, Australia, Thursday 05 July 2018 online, 19:20 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.

AFL Football Online Stream

One of the big games of AFL Round 16 will be when the Sydney Swans take on the Geelong Cats at the SCG on Thursday night, July 5.

The result of this clash will have a big bearing on both sides finals hopes and the action gets underway at 7.20PM. Channel 7 and Fox Footy will broadcast the game.

Sydney have won 10 of their 14 games this year and sit in 4th spot on the ladder. The perennial finalists come off a 26 point loss at the hands of Richmond. Prior to that, they had won six in a row.

Geelong are precariously positioned, just holding on to 8th spot on percentage and will be rueing their last start defeat, which came at the hands of the western Bulldogs by two points. On that occasion, Harry Taylor missed a goal after the siren that would have seen his side home.

The Cats can ill afford another loss and may find themselves out of the eight at the conclusion of the round. They have been posted as the $2.75 underdogs in the early head to head betting with CrownBet.

The game brings together a couple of the better midfield line ups with Geelong’s Patrick Dangerfield, Joel Selwood and Gary Ablett taking on the likes of Josh Kennedy, Luke Parker and Daniel Hannebery. The two sides rank similarly in a number of statistical measures and it is hard to split them in this area.

Match-winners up forward for Sydney, include Lance Franklin, who has booted 35 goals this season at 3.2 per game, while Will Hayward and Ben Ronke are others that have bobbed up in recent times.

For Geelong, Tom Hawkins and Harry Taylor loom as focal points. Hawkins has kicked 28 goals this year.

Western Bulldogs vs Geelong Cats match will be kickoff at Etihad Stadium, Melbourne, Vic, Australia, Friday 24 June 2018 online, 19:50 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.

AFL Live Steaming

The Western Bulldogs take on the Geelong Cats in a Friday night showdown, on June 29 at Etihad Stadium.

The match starts at 7:50pm AEST, with all the action live on channel 7 and Fox footy from 7:30pm.

The Western Bulldogs have lost their last five matches, but at least showed signs of improvement against North Melbourne, going down in a thriller. Goals from Ed Richards and Billy Gowers looked to seal the victory for the dogs, however, a Ben Brown soccer and a Jack Ziebell goal broke the hearts of the doggies.

Despite their improved performance, It’s almost impossible to have any confidence in a team who has lost their way since the 2016 grand final. The Bulldogs have lost their last five matches, four of which were by 35 points or more.

Geelong should be fresh after their bye in Round 14. The Cats last match was against Richmond at the MCG. They dominated the first quarter before the Tigers started to go through their gears. The Cats were only a point down at three-quarter time, but a four goal to one, fourth quarter sealed their fate.

Patrick Dangerfield has dominated in recent encounters between the two teams. In Round 9, 2017 he finished with 36 disposals and four goals. In Round 19, 2016 he racked up 33 touches and three goals.

Geelong has completely dominated the Western Bulldogs in the last decade. The Cats have won their last 11 matches against the Dogs, including two wins in 2016, the Dogs premiership year.

Although last week was encouraging for the Bulldogs, I can’t make a case for them to get near the Cats, who will be treating this as a must-win, as they are only one win out of the top four race.

Little separates the two sides over the course of 2018. Both have won seven of their 11 games to date but the Cats head in as favourites on the back of the home ground advantage, as well as their superior form in 2017.

Chris Scott’s side finished 3rd last year, while the Kangaroos narrowly missed the wooden spoon, finishing 15th. Scott takes on his twin brother, Brad, in the coaches box and both are in winning form.

Geelong claimed their Round 11 encounter against the Gold Coast Suns by 85 points and their big three- Gary Ablett, Joel Selwood and Patrick Dangerfield, combined for almost 100 possessions.

On the same weekend, North Melbourne defeated the competition’s other Queensland based side, Brisbane, by 54 points. The Kangaroos have proven to be the real surprise packets in 2018 and loom as serious challengers for a finals birth.

Their leading forward, Ben Brown, leads the competition for goals scored with 33 majors for the year, while Ben Cunnington and Shaun Higgins are among a host of others that have been in excellent form in 2018.

A win for either side will see them well poised with the bye approaching, while a loss will put them back with the pack in what shapes as another tight season.

It is unlikely that Geelong will make too many changes to their line up. Scott Selwood may be available to make his return. James Parsons and George Horlin-Smith are knocking on the door with good form in the VFL.

North Melbourne’s Jarrad Waite was a late withdrawal prior to the Brisbane game and remains in doubt. Ben McKay, Sam Durdin and Ryan Clarke will be considered for selection.

Geelong have won their past two against North Melbourne, including a thrilling one point victory the last time the two sides met, which was way back in Round 2 last year.

However, the Kangaroos won the three prior, including the 2014 Semi Final by six points. Geelong have won the past five clashes between the two sides at GMHBA Stadium. The Kangas scored at the venue in Round 5 of 2007, before the Cats went on to become the dominant side that season.

We can look forward to a close one. North Melbourne were able to win at an unfamiliar venue in the form of Perth Stadium a couple of weeks ago against Fremantle, but Geelong are a different kettle of fish. The Cats are often a confidence side and there should be no shortage of that after their effort last weekend. Take them to win in the 1-39 point bracket.

Geelong suffered their first loss of 2017 last week at the hands of the struggling Collingwood Magpies. Gold Coast, on the other hand, went down to North Melbourne who had not won a game yet this year.

Geelong had too many stars have a bad day last week and this cost them dearly. It’s hard to imagine that they will play that poorly for a second week in a row.

Gold Coast have been undermanned in defence and Ben Brown took advantage of that last week booting six goals for North Melbourne. Gold Coast do welcome back co-captain Steven May to provide some height and experience down back.

Geelong are definitely a side that will play finals, but they showed us last week that they too can lack consistency and up at Metricon Stadium they will be vulnerable.

There’s four changes for Gold Coast suns including the return of Steven May. David Swallow and Kade Kolodjashnij also come back in, while there is a debut for Brad Scheer on the interchange bench. A shoulder injury keeps Jesse Lonergan out, while Jack Bowes, Brayden Fiorini and Matt Shaw are omitted.

Geelong Cats also make four changes, one enforced as a hamstring injury sidelines Brandan Parfitt. Tom Stewart, Zac Smith and Sam Menegola drop out with Daniel Menzel, Rhys Stanley, James Parsons and Jackson Thurlow recalled.

Ablett is playing brilliantly and at home I think he can take the Suns to a win against his former team. Gold Coast are hard to beat up at Metricon and I think the Cats showed us last week that if teams can deny Selwood and Dangerfield easy possessions the rest falls away quickly.

AFL Footy Live Online

The Geelong Cats return home to GMHBA Stadium and host the Carlton Blues on Saturday Night. The action kicks off at 7:25pm.

All the action can be seen live on Fox Sports 3 from 7:00pm.

Just when Carlton thought they had hit rock bottom, they must drive down the highway to face a Geelong team who will come out firing after their abysmal 34-point loss to Essendon last Saturday.

The Cats were simply awful against the Bombers. They kicked one goal in two-quarters of football and looked non-competitive against an Essendon team who hasn’t set the world on fire this season.

Gary Ablett returns to Geelong for his first match back at GMHBA stadium. The prodigal son put in his worst performance in a long time last week, and told Cats coach Chris Scott “watch me next week”.

Geelong have proved they can bounce back after disappointing losses. The Cats suffered a disappointing loss at GMHBA stadium against the Swans without Lance Franklin in Round 6. They quickly bounced back with a 61-point victory against the GWS Giants a week later.

Carlton were simply disgraceful last week against Melbourne. The Blues kicked long, down the line with no urgency and were simply not pressuring the ball carrier, allowing the Dees to run rampant.

The Blues have allowed 54 goals over the last three weeks, including 25 in their horror 109-point loss against Melbourne.

In yet another blow for the Blues, captain Marc Murphy will miss Saturday night’s clash against the Cats after disrupting scar tissue in his foot. In better news, the Curnow brothers will return, with Charlie Curnow overcoming a Quad injury and brother Ed back from a one-week suspension.

Australian Football League Live Essendon Bombers vs Geelong Cats Live Stream Free, AFL 2018 Regular Seasons Week 09 AFL Stream. Essendon Bombers vs Geelong Cats match will be kickoff at MCG stadium, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, Saturday 19 May 2018 online, 16:35 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.

AFL Footy Streaming

The Essendon Bombers are in turmoil and will be looking to bounce back when they face the Geelong Cats on Saturday Afternoon at the MCG.

All action can be seen live on Fox Footy from 4:30pm, with the first bounce at 4:35pm (AEST).

The Essendon Bombers are in Crisis mode after their horror 13-point loss to the winless Carlton last Saturday. It was the doomsday scenario for the Bombers, a team who has now lost six of their last seven matches after a comeback victory against the Adelaide Crows in Round 1.

Such was the magnitude of the Bombers loss, it took only 48 hours before swift action was taken. Game Performance Coach Mark Neeld was sacked as the Bombers admitted they needed change.

The Bombers are averaging only 67 points in their last four matches, which include a 49-point loss to the Magpies on Anzac Day, a 36-point loss to the Demons and a 23-point loss to the Hawks.

In a 2018 AFL season that has given us primarily low-scoring, the Bombers defence has been almost as dismal as its offence. Essendon is averaging 96.4 points against and have allowed the Dockers, Bulldogs, Magpies and Demons to all kick 100 points against them.

The Geelong Cats are sitting quietly in third on the AFL Ladder, with a 5-3 record after Round 8. Following a poor loss at home against an undermanned Sydney Swans side in Round 6, the Cats have thumped the GWS Giants and fought out a tough victory against a scrappy Collingwood.

In what a ‘dour’ affair, the Cats wore down the injured Magpies after only five goals were kicked between the two teams in the first half. Gary Ablett finished with a team-high 32 disposals while Sam Menegola kicked three goals. Menegola proved key in the third-quarter, kicking consecutive goals to break the game open.

Incredibly, the Cats have limited their opponents to only 53 points over the last month of Footy. This doesn’t bode well for the Bombers, who have had their scoring woes.

One of the key games of AFL Round 8 will be when Collingwood take on Geelong at the MCG on Sunday afternoon.

Both sides are evenly poised on the ladder and the action gets underway at 3.20PM. Channel 7 and Fox Footy will broadcast the game live.

Collingwood come off a narrow win over the Brisbane Lions last weekend by seven points and have won four of their past five. Their only loss in that time period was at the hands of the competition’s pacesetters, Richmond.

They now sit with an overall win-loss record of 4-3, which is the same as Geelong but the Pies are three slots below the 6th placed Cats on the ladder, due to an inferior percentage.

Geelong were comprehensive 63 point winners over GWS last weekend and head in as slight favourites for the MCG encounter. Their A-grade midfield has been in solid form this year and will be bolstered by the likely return of Gary Ablett.

The battle in that part of the ground will be an interesting one. Collingwood top the competition for total disposals and just shade Geelong for average number of contested possessions and clearances.

It will also be interesting to see if the Pies can continue their form on the scoreboard. Their rejuvenated forward line has managed to boot over 100 points in three of the past four games. Jordan De Goey, Jaiydn Stephenson and Josh Thomas have all kicked bags in recent times.

The Cats head in as slight favourites for the 7.50PM encounter and all the action can be seen on Channel 7 and Fox Footy.

Geelong will be keen to atone for a Round 6 performance that saw them blow a 24 point three-quarter-time lead to go down to Sydney by 17 points. The Cats have won three of six this season and sit in 9th position on the ladder.

Their opponents, GWS have won four matches and also have a draw to their credit. Last weekend they were too good for Brisbane, defeating the Lions by 34 points.

The Giants have a host of midfielders in good form and rank 3rd in the competition for total disposals and are on top for uncontested possessions. Stephen Coniglio, Callan Ward and Josh Kelly are just some of the Giants on-ballers that the Cats will need to be mindful of.

Chris Scott’s side have conceded the second most inside 50’S this year and will need more out of some of their big names, including Patrick Dangerfield and Joel Selwood. Dangerfield was slightly subdued in the loss to Sydney but is averaging 28 disposals over the course of the season.

With the likes of Dangerfield and Selwood, the Cats should have a slight edge at winning the contested possessions and the clearances and if they avoid the lapses that have plagued them at various stages this year they can notch up an important win.
