Australian Football League Gold Coast Suns vs St Kilda Saints Live Stream Free, AFL 2019 Round 13 Live Stream. Gold Coast Suns vs St Kilda Saints match will be kickoff at Riverway Stadium, Thuringowa Central, Australia, Saturday 15 June 2019 online,Time:01:45pm AEST and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.
Both sides have struggled in 2019. They were both quick out of the blocks and registered early season wins but their last couple of months have left a lot to be desired.
Gold Coast opened up with three wins out of their first four games but have since lost eight on the trot. They come off a 27 point loss to North Melbourne but a positive from that game is the way they finished things off, outscoring the Kangaroos after quarter time.
St Kilda won four of the firts five games but have won just one game since then. They come off the bye in Round 12 so should head in with fresh legs. Prior to the break they went down to Port Adelaide by 70 points in Shanghai, China.
Both sides rank similarly in a number of measures but St Kilda may just have more attacking options up forward. Tim Membrey and Josh Bruce have been a bit quiet of late but should find this easier than recent assignments, while Jade Gresham comes off there goals against the Power.
Gold Coast will need to find more answers in their forward half and are averaging just 61 points per game this season. Alex Sexton is one of few forwards that have troubled the oppostion. Further up the ground, Jarryd Harbrow and Darcy Macpherson will look to provide plenty of run and supply.
Gold Coast have a few injury concerns with Touk Miller and Jordan Murdoch pulling up with issues out of the Kangaroos game.
St Kilda lose Jarryn Geary to a leg injury, just one week after he made his comeback. Dan Hannebery is a big chance to make his long awaited debut for the club, while Max King has been in good form in the VFL.
St Kilda have won the past three games between the two sides, including the Round 1 encounter this soon by a solitary point. That contest was played at Marvel Stadium. Jack Billings and Jack Steven were among the better players for the winners, while Alex Sexton booted four for Gold Coast.
Last year it was a similar result with a late Jade Gresham goal snatching a win for the Saints at Metricon Stadium by two points. However, the Suns have won three of their past five against the Saints in Queensland.
This should be a close one but I’m inclined to go with St Kilda as they have slightly more attacking options. Gold Coast finished off well last weekend against North but it is hard to see them finding a way to kick a winning score.
