AFL Live Essendon Bombers vs Melbourne Demons Streaming Free 2018 Regular Seasons week 06 match will be kick off at Etihad Stadium, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, Sunday 29 April 2018 online, 13:10 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.

The Essendon Bombers face the Melbourne Demons in a must-win game for both sides. The Clash at 1:10pm on Sunday April 29 at Etihad Stadium.

All the action can be seen live on Fox Footy from 1:00pm (AEST).

It’s not often that we see two teams who are as desperate for a victory as Essendon and Melbourne in Round 6 of the Home and Away season. Both the Bombers and Dees came into 2018 with high expectations.

Those aforementioned expectations have not been met, with the Bombers sitting 13th and the Dees sitting 14th on the AFL Ladder after six rounds. With such an even competition, It isn’t the 2-3 record that is the concern, but the way both teams are losing.

For those who are keen to take the Good Friday match away from North Melbourne and St Kilda after their poor game, well then you must take Anzac Day away from Collingwood and Essendon. What we witnessed from Essendon on the biggest stage in Home and Away football was nothing short of horrendous.

Essendon finished the game with 120 marks, 90 of which came in the back half. They looked slow, without identity, with no one in a Red and Black jersey willing to take the game on. The end result was a 49-point with the Bombers kicking only one goal in two quarters and only seven for the match.

Only 19 hours prior, Melbourne didn’t do much better. They kept the contest against Richmond close in the first quarter, but then allowed 13 goals to seven in the final three-quarters. Richmond finished with a 46-point victory.

The Demons have allowed a combined 33 goals over the last two weeks, only kicking 14 of their own. The Dees look like they are a shambles.

Australian Football League Live Melbourne Demons vs Richmond Tigers Live Stream Free, AFL 2018 Seasons Week 05 AFL Stream. Melbourne Demons vs Richmond Tigers match will be kickoff at MCG Stadium, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, Tuesday 24 April 2018 online, 19:25 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.

Round 7 will continue on ANZAC Day Eve when the Dees and the Tigers clash on the MCG. Melbourne were diabolical last round, going down by 67 points to the Hawks, despite starting as favourites. Richmond, on the other hand, smashed the hapless Lions by 93 points and look primed to get their 4th win at the ‘G this year from 4 games.

Melbourne (LWWL) – Melbourne did what Melbourne do best last round- disappoint their supporters. In a game where they were favourites; they were out-worked, out-skilled, out-thought and simply found wanting against a Hawthorn side that clearly wanted to win more and did- despite having 3 game-ending injuries during the match!

Richmond (WLWW) – If there were any doubts about how much the Tiges love the ‘G, they were well and truly dispelled with their massive 93 point win over a hapless Lions side. Perhaps more can be read into the tough-fought win over the Hawks in Round 3, when Trent Cotchin led his side to a 13 point win despite strong games from Hawks Mitchell, McEvoy and Roughead.

Melbourne+Demons+vs+Richmond+Tigers+Live
Who knows what Demons side to expect! Either way, what we do know, is these Tigers are flying- and they have made themselves incredibly hard to beat at the ‘G. The Wolf thinks Melbourne (quite rightly) should come out fired up and full of fight- but is expecting the stingy Richmond defence to be able to absorb that pressure and allow their midfield to run over the top of them late in the game.

It is Sunday afternoon footy at the ‘G, with Hawthorn taking on Melbourne for what promises to be a blockbuster clash. Both sides are sitting 2-1 to start the season, although one might argue the quality of Hawthorn’s opponents has been much higher. Tom Mitchell continues to get leather poisoning, and he has been ably assisted by the (finally) fit again Jaeger O’Meara while the return of James Sicily should allow Jack Gunston to return to where he is most dangerous- in front of goal. For Melbourne, Jesse Hogan has been huge- with the power forward also rolling through the midfield; much like his talented teammate Christian Petracca, who is averaging 24 disposals and 1.7 goals a game.
You won’t want to miss this clash, where there is plenty of value to be found for the plucky punter.

Hawthorn (WWL) – After two strong wins to start the year, the Hawks were gallant in last round’s defeat to Richmond. They had the run of play for much of the game, and it was simply poor execution that let them down. Alistair Clarkson will certainly have something up his sleeve again for this one.

Melbourne (LWW) – If it wasn’t for Max Gawn’s horrendous shank in Round 1, the Demons would currently be sitting undefeated at the top of the ladder with Port Adelaide. They haven’t exactly lit the world on fire in their victories over Brisbane and North Melbourne, but the performances of Gawn and Jesse Hogan, in particular, will give supporters something to smile about.

The Wolf is expecting a tight contest for the whole game, with lead changes galore. The ruck battle between Gawn and McEvoy will be an absorbing one- and critical to the whole contest. If McEvoy can stretch Gawn (and the Wolf thinks he can), Hawthorn are better equipped to win a close one.

Melbourne Demons vs North Melbourne Kangaroos match will be kickoff at MCG Stadium, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, Saturday 07 April 2018 online, 14:10 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.

AFL Footy Live Stream

Saturday afternoon football at the MCG sees the Melbourne Demons take on North Melbourne with the Round 3 encounter getting underway at 2.10PM.

The two sides have won one of two games this season but it is the Demons that are likely to head in as warm favourites. All the action can be seen on Fox Sports 3.

Melbourne missed out in agonising fashion in Round 1 after their ruckman, Max Gawn, missed a goal in the dying stages to leave them three points shy of Geelong. However, they were good enough to rebound and defeat the Brisbane Lions by 26 points in Round 2.

In the same round, North Melbourne were the surprise packets by defeating St Kilda by 52 points. That effort came after a loss in what were wet and soggy conditions at Cairns against the Gold Coast.

On paper, Melbourne look to have too much class for North Melbourne. They have a stack of ball winners such as Clayton Oliver, Nathan Jones and Christian Petracca, while their forwards in Jesse Hogan and Jeff Garlett head into this in good form.

However, the Kangas shouldn’t be underestimated. They have an excellent record against Melbourne and have a couple of key focal points up forward in Ben Brown and Jared Waite. Brown booted six goals in the win over St Kilda last weekend.

If Jack Ziebell, Shaun Higgins and their new recruit, Billy Hartung, can find enough of the footy, the Roos are not without a chance. The winner of this one will close out Round 3 with a 2-1 win-loss record, while it will be the opposite for the loser.

AFL Live Brisbane Lions vs Melbourne Demons Streaming Free 2018 Regular Seasons week 02 match will be kick off at The Gabba Stadium, Woolloongabba, Australia, Saturday 31 March 2018 online, 19:25 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.

AFL Live Stream

Both Brisbane and Melbourne started their 2018 season with a loss. Both sides will be desperate to notch a victory when they clash at the Gabba on Easter Saturday at 7:25pm (AEDT).

Despite the Lions playing at home, Melbourne will start hot favourites. You can catch all the action live on Fox Footy.

Melbourne suffered a heartbreaking loss against Geelong in Round 1. The Dees dominated the play in the last quarter, but couldn’t capitalise, kicking 1.7 including the late miss by ruckman Max Gawn that would’ve given the Dees a memorable victory.

The Demons dominated the Inside 50’s, 64 to 41, but will rue a poor second quarter, allowing Geelong to kick seven goals and set up a 27-point lead at halftime.

I was really impressed with what I saw from this young Brisbane Lions team against the Saints at Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

The Saints skipped out to an early 19-point lead at quarter time, but the young Lions team weren’t rattled. They controlled the inside game, winning clearances 44 to 27 and looked a genuine winning chance late in the final term before the Saints run just proved too strong, winning by 25 points.

New recruit Luke Hodge made an immediate impact at his new club, giving the Lions defence some stability while finishing with 25 possessions and five marks. Hodge’s cool head down back should help the Lions in 2018.

The Demons have beaten the Lions in their last three encounters, however all three of those matches were at the MCG, where the Lions usually only play once or twice a year. The most recent of which was Round 22, 2017. The Dees looked like running away with the game in the final term, reaching a 33-point lead before the Lions came roaring back, kicking four goals in eight minutes to cut the margin to only seven points. Jesse Hogan was the hero, kicking six goals as Melbourne held on for a 13-point victory.

The Dees haven’t played at the Gabba since Round 14 2012. On this day, the Lions proved far too good, winning by 61 points.

AFL Live Melbourne Demons vs Geelong Cats Streaming Free 2018 Regular Seasons week 01 match will be kick off at MCG Stadium, Melbourne, VIC, Australia, Sunday 25 March 2018 online, 15:20 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.

One of the most intriguing games of the opening weekend of the AFL home and away season will be when Melbourne take on Geelong on Sunday afternoon, March 25, at the MCG.

The 3.20PM clash shapes as one that could go either way and the action will be shown live on Channel 7 and Fox Sports. AFL Live Vision is also available to ALL CrownBet members. Every Match, wherever you are.

Melbourne looked sharp in the recent JLT Series, defeating North Melbourne by 53 points in their opening game before accounting for St Kilda to the tune of 26 points. The Demons did allow the Saints back into the game in the third term before breaking away. They will need to keep their foot on the pedal to defeat Geelong in this one.

The Cats were slightly disappointing in their two games, going down to Gold Coast by 56 points and Essendon by four. They were understrength in both of those and are likely to be without a couple of big names on the weekend once again, with Patrick Dangerfield and Gary Ablett in doubt.

In terms of 2017 results, Geelong were the superior side and finished 2nd on the ladder at seasons end before bowing out to Adelaide in the Preliminary Final. Melbourne showed some promise but frustrated their fans yet again by finishing 9th after going down to Collingwood in Round 23.

The Demons have a number of players that look to be in excellent form and have used the ball very well in their hit outsf to date. They have key players in a number of areas. Max Gawn should get on top in the ruck while Clayton Oliver and Christian Petracca can capitalise in the middle. Jake Lever looks to be a superb addition and will provide plenty of influence across halfback.

On paper, Melbourne look the team to beat here but they have a terrible record against Geelong and we can’t underestimate the Cats. Despite their injury concerns they do have plenty of classy contributors that will ensure this goes right down to the wire.

Their evergreen skipper, Joel Selwood, has been prominent in the JLT and was excellent against the Demons last year, while Mitch Duncan, Tom Hawkins and Daniel Menzel are others that are shaping up well.

AFL JLT Series Stream

During the dark days covering most of the past 12 years the hierarchy at the Melbourne Football Club preferred the historic club was referred to simply as Melbourne, not the Demons.

No one bothered to ask why because the reason seemed simple. They have been anything but Demons. More like easy beats, with not one finish above 11th until last year’s rally when they finished ninth, less than half a percentage point away from West Coast and a first finals appearance since 2006.

But 2018 looms as the year the Demons can finally live up to their nickname again by bouncing back as not only genuine finalists, but a legitimate premiership contender.

Long-suffering Melbourne fans deserve better but also spare a thought for co-captain Nathan Jones who will hit his 250-game milestone halfway through the year, but has never faced the challenge of another finals series since his debut season as an 18-year-old 12 years ago. After playing in a winning elimination final against St Kilda in just his seventh game, he’s not experienced anything similar since.

No one has bled more for their club than the diminutive but hard-as-nails Jones and he too deserves more. Just how far the Demons have fallen off the pace is best indicated by the damning statistic that since the start of 2009, only two of 18 clubs have not participated in September action — Melbourne and Gold Coast.

Melbourne start their new era in earnest today in Tasmania in the first practice game of the JLT Community series against North Melbourne.

They have not won a flag under 17 senior coaches since 1964, which is a remarkable under achievement considering that was their sixth premiership during a golden decade as the undisputed champions of Australian football.

AFL Live Collingwood Magpies vs Melbourne Demons Streaming Free 2017 Regular Seasons Round 23 match will be kick off at Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne, VIC, Australia, Saturday 26 August 2017 online, 13:45 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.

Collingwood are 13th on the ladder with an 8-12-1 record, ranking 11th in scoring and 12th in defence. The Magpies have finished the season strong, going undefeated for a month before respectable losses to Port and Geelong. The Magpies have not won any of their last six at the MCG.

Melbourne are seventh on the ladder with a 12-9 record. They rank seventh in scoring and ninth in defence. The Demons have won their last two, sneaking home against St Kilda and Brisbane. Melbourne have conceded 100 just once in their last 10 games.

Melbourne are on the brink of making their first finals appearance in 11 years. A win will see them safely into seventh place, the position in which the Bulldogs won the flag from last season.

However, a loss will open the door for both Essendon and West Coast. The Bombers should account for Fremantle, while West Coast take on Adelaide in Perth. Should the Eagles bridge the percentage gap, the Dees would miss out. A seven-goal swing would be required for this to occur (for example, West Coast win by three goals and Melbourne lose by four).

The Demons have been a tad inconsistent throughout the year but come in with two wins under their belt, a 24 point victory over St Kilda a fortnight ago before just shading the wooden spoon contenders, Brisbane, last weekend by 13.

Their opponents, Collingwood, have dropped their past two with those losses coming at the hands of Port Adelaide and Geelong. Prior to that, they won three from four, including a draw to Adelaide at the MCG, and have been playing some reasonable footy.

The respective midfields in this encounter match up very evenly and the two sides feature in the top two of the competition for average disposals, with Melbourne just shading the Pies in this area.

Melbourne’s Clayton Oliver, Nathan Jones and Michael Hibberd all feature in the top 25 of the competition for average disposals, while at Collingwood it is Adam Treloar, Taylor Adams, Steele Sidebottom and Scott Pendlebury, the latter of whom will miss due to injury.

Sitting in seventh place heading into the penultimate weekend of the home and away season, Melbourne Demons know a win over the Brisbane Lions will leave fate in their own hands.

Victory at the MCG on Sunday would not only keep the chasing pack at bay for another week, it will also mean the Demons would go into next weekend’s clash with Collingwood knowing they need no outside help to seal a top 8 berth.

The Dees came through one crunch game last weekend when defeating finals rivals St Kilda and they start as clear favourites to defeat the Lions.

Brisbane have something to play for themselves having posted improved efforts over the last month, and they can now move off bottom spot with a victory over the Demons.

They won the Q-Clash with the Gold Coast Suns last weekend to join Carlton on five wins for the campaign and the Lions could yet pull off the unlikely and avoid the wooden spoon.

In what was previously a wooden spoon clash between the sides, the added important and home advantage should just see the Dees across the line but it won’t be by much against this improving Lions side.

Jesse Hogan returns for Melbourne Demons and Billy Stretch is also named. Jack Viney misses out with a foot injury and Sam Weideman is left out.

Just one change for the Brisbane Lions sees Alex Witherden come in for Cedric Cox.

St Kilda kept their finals hopes alive last week with a plucky victory over West Coast Eagles, but face an equally crucial showdown when they take on Melbourne Demons at the MCG.

Last week’s win left Saints in 11th on the ladder, one place behind the Demons who slipped to 10th after a disappointing loss to the GWS Giants.

Both sides have a 10-9 record for the campaign and know nothing short of victory will do when they go head to head on Sunday afternoon.

The Demons won when the two sides met in Round 1 earlier this year, ending a run of 14 straight defeats in matches against the Saints.

But the Dees come into this after back-to-back losses and a run of just two wins in six – form which has resulted in them slipping out of the top 8.

St Kilda had also threatened to fade away tamely this year but last weekend’s victory over the Eagles snapped a three-game losing streak and revived hopes of making the finals. Can they now repeat it this Sunday?

The Demons’ bid to arrest the slide sees four changes with Sam Frost, Christian Salem, Corey Maynard and Jack Watts all omitted. Mitch Hannan, Angus Brayshaw, Sam Weideman and Josh Wagner return in their places.

Saints lose Nick Reiwoldt due to concussion with Sam Gilbert coming into the side in the only change.
