AFL Live North Melbourne Kangaroos vs Collingwood Magpies Streaming Free 2017 Regular Seasons Round 20 match will be kick off at Etihad Stadium, Melbourne, VIC, Australia, Saturday 05 August 2017 online, 19:25 pm (AEDT) and its broadcast on Channel Seven, Foxtell.
North Melbourne are 16th on the ladder with a 5-13 record. They rank seventh in scoring but a poor 16th defensively. The Kangaroos ended a seven-game losing streak last week with a win over Melbourne in Hobart. North have conceded 107-plus in four of their last six games but conceded just 72 last week.
Collingwood are 13th on the ladder with a 7-10-1 record and remain just a mathematical hope of finals. The Pies rank 10th in scoring and 12th defensively. The Magpies have not lost in their last three, defeating Gold Coast and West Coast before a draw with Adelaide. Collingwood have conceded at least 85 points in eight straight.
Unlike North Melbourne, Collingwood still have a mathematical chance of making the finals – although ultimately both will not be playing in September.
The Magpies are 10 points adrift of eighth spot with four games remaining, and despite not suffering defeat over the last three weeks they are facing up to another year without finals footy.
Victories over Gold Coast Suns and West Coast Eagles were followed by a draw with ladder leaders Adelaide Crows last week and the Pies will fancy their chances of extending that run.
The Kangaroos are 16th and out of the finals picture but they do come into the game on the back of a win over Melbourne Demons last week.
That hard-fought victory ended a seven-game losing streak, but can they back it up? It’s hard to make a case why they will.
North Melbourne are without injured pair Majak Daw and Jarrad Waite, but Todd Goldstein is back and Nick Larkey also comes in.
Collingwood are unchanged from the side which held the Adelaide Crows last week.
Collingwood aren’t a side to put your trust in too often (the same applies to North Melbourne too), but they should be good enough to win this. It should be a close one, all the same, so the Tri-Bet might be the safest betting.
